Reviews on Canadian food in Jasper, Alberta, Canada. Escape the urban bustle and make Jasper your home base for exploring Canada's extraordinary wilderness. As a mountain town, it's low-key and unpretentious with good food and drink; as a destination, it's an outdoor sports lover's playground, with hiking and golfing in summer and skiing and dog sledding in winter. If it's chilly, heat up at Miette Hot Springs in the National Park.

Simple & Casual cuisine for the budget minded, Teams & Groups, and families. Fast, Friendly service with something for everyone. Take advantage of the best views in town from our Roof Top Patio or host a function in our Basement Party room. Weekly winter
Jasper Pizza Place is a fantastic local restaurant. I ate here twice during my stay in August 2019. The menu had pizza, pastas, burgers, salads and more with gluten-free and vegetarian options. I ordered the Penne Marinara and Beyond Sausage and Mushroom pastas. I can honestly say that these were some of the best pastas I have tasted. The restaurant had indoor seating, a sidewalk patio and a rooftop patio with amazing views of the mountains. Eating on the rooftop patio was a great experience and the views canât be beat. The service was friendly and efficient.

Funky, upbeat, family owned restaurant with a globally inspired, locally sourced menu.
Decor is like Swiss Chalet. Food is good but ridiculously overpriced considering the venue. Very weird - the names of the food sound like a pub; the venue lacks sophistication; the food is very good quality, but expensive; the servers are randomly dressed. Needs a stylist to give it consistency.

Our first time in Jasper and therefore our first time in Downstream .. the location came highly recommended by Stanley who is a driver for Jasper Motorcycle Tours in town ⦠A location with great atmosphere and décor, very cozy feel â¦. seated promptly and served drinks in the same manner ⦠excellent local craft beer choices ...my choice was the Elk Steak, cooked medium rare and to perfection, great plate presentation, and a good portion â¦.. My wife went with the Pacific Salmon Steak which was on a bed of garlic mashed â¦. also delicious but she thought a little dry for her taste â¦. all and all, good drinks, great food, great atmosphere, reasonable cost ⦠highly recommended.

Long hiking day and came in to this place. Seated quickly and the service was outstanding. Local craft beers were great and they had some blueberry bison sausage as a special appetizer. It was very good! The view and atmosphere were simply perfect as was everything else. Didn't feel rushed to eat and leave as you may get in some other places.

Without a doubt the best coffee Iâve had in Canada (no surprise an Aussie barista). The breakfasts were delicious, staff were attentive, the portions were very generous and we found was well-priced compared to other comparisons in Jasper given the quality. Definitely the best place for breakfast in Jasper - donât let a short wait deter you, grab a takeaway coffee if you need to wait - itâs worth it.

We were in Jasper at lunchtime on a beautiful day and stopped in at the Patricia Street Deli. It's not exactly a storefront, but instead is within a building with other businesses on the first floor. Such a tiny place, such a big line, but it moved quickly. You choose your type of bread or wrap, meats, vegetables, cheese and sauces/spreads. The very friendly staff guide you through the process quickly and you end up with a delicious sandwich or wrap. We took our wraps to a nearby park and ate outside on a park bench. Glorious.
