It's nice that you can get a quick pizza while on the go up in the Haliburton area. We were just stopping in the get supplies and decided we didn't want to cook when we eventually got back to the cottage. The service was friendly and quick to take our order, ready in 20 minutes they said... 25 minutes later I was told it would be 5 more minutes. Overall it was a little greasier then we expected, it tasted good though.

I was here for lunch. Staff were very friendly but the service was a bit slow. I ordered the fish and chips. The chips were great and hot but the fish batter lacked flavor and the fish inside was a bit dry. I would order something different next time as my friend enjoyed her lunch. Wine was very overpriced.Thank you PerthDarter. I will pass your feedback along to the Cookhouse Manager. We look forward to wowing you with a different selection off the menu next time. Always a delicious, fresh, and tasty option when you are looking for something quick when visiting the lovely town of Haliburton in the heart of cottage country. The various sub varieties are a welcomed healthy fast food option, and it's always great to be able to make your own selections so you know it's what you wanted. The staff is fast and friendly, and the new location is spacious and welcoming.My family will always look forward to visiting any subway in any location in Ontario.

Great homemade juicy beef burger on a fresh bun with delicious crispy fresh cut fries. The haddock and fries were mouthwatering. Friendly staff were happy to accommodate our group of eleven when we called. Go for delicious homemade food not the atmosphere.

Had a wonderful "sweet tooth" breakfast this morning with my son. We both ordered the same thing, eggs with home fries, pancakes, toast etc. large breakfast and it was awesome.Desserts in the case looked amazing. If it wasn't morning I would have ordered one. Service was good too. Kind of a local diner kind of place. Perfect for breakfast.

This charming spot was recommended by the very helpful lady in the local Tourist Information Office so we drove by to make a reservation. The paddle board event meant a large and I imagine noisy party Saturday so we booked for quiet Sunday evening. The restaurant is part of a large log cabin structure and could be described as quaint and comfortable, sits right by the lake with wonderful evening views across to Wigamog Inn which might have seen happier days. The food was excellent.

Dropped in for a pint (or two) and lunch. Good selection on the menu. Mostly pub fare, easy to enjoy and tasty. 8-10 taps with the regular offerings and a few good local beers as well. Nice, bright, open atmosphere, clean, with good service. A good place for family or hanging out.

Called in to inquire about the restaurant hours- person who answered was pretty abrubt and not entirely welcoming. Got there. Atmosphere is nothing to write home about but the food was ok. I'd say average at best. Our server was nice, thankfully but that phone call was off-putting.

We were driving up to the cottage and had read such terrific reviews of this place we decided weâd call ahead and place a take out order - itâs friday at 6:00 PM and we called their number twenty times only to get a message saying please call back if this is for take out and leave a message if you want to make a reservation. We by passed other well known restaurants hoping maybe their phone was out of order and we could order when we got there - weâll you guessed it - they were closed!! If they have gone bankrupt T least changed the message - if they havenât gone bankrupt maybe they should! No hospitality service in cottage country should Ignore customers like this plac did - Iâd steer clear of this place!

Stopped by for lunch with two friends on the way to the cottage. Our lunch was wonderful. The potato soup was very good. The poutine was very filling. Nice selection of local beers. The dining room has a nice view, is very clean and inviting. Excellent service. I will be back.
