Beachcomber Coffee Company is based in the heart of Gibsons Landing on the Sunshine Coast, BC. We are a coffee-first establishment offering a variety of coffee-based drinks and freshly baked goodies. It's not just a coffee, it's a lifestyle!
Stopped in with a group of librarians that I was working with and boy am I glad they introduced me to Beachcomers. First of all the outstanding staff blows you away from the moment you walk in with their friendliness and helpfulness. The variety of exquisitely made drinks is mind blowing. Too bad I live 3000 miles away, but luckily for my pocket book I live 3000 miles away, otherwise I think I would be there twice a-day everyday.

We did not have reservations so were put up stairs on a picnic table. Was very noisy. Food was ok, drinks were good. Menu is limited.

I realize Persephone is a business, after all, but it's almost a community centre. A community hub, that's for sure. We have a better than 50% chance of running into friends or acquaintances there. Great folksy/homey room, games to play, often live music. My only carp: I wish there was a bit of food on offer - simple bistro fare, for example. The food truck (on the premises) and pizza oven are not always open (typically work on weekends) so a bit of pasta or snacks would be a great addition.

Stopped here upon the recommendation of friends and we are thrilled we did! The place is very tiny inside so we had to choose quickly to make room for others! We couldnât make up our minds but the fresh from the oven cinnamon buns did us in!!! We sat on a conviently situated bench outside the bakery and savoured the flavour! Then we went back in and loaded up on muffins for the car! Great stop!

Cool Oyster Bar overlooking harbor. Outdoor seating, good service nice people. Had a dozen oysters and a IPA for lunch. My wife had their specialty German bear.Oysters from New Zealand were wonderful, those from Prince Edward Island were lacking in taste. Expensive lunch as Oysters were $3.50 and $3.75 each

Farm to table restaurant, serving west coast cuisine, focusing on local and seasonal ingredients, beer and wine.
Fabulous food and service- fine dining in a casual atmosphere with friendly staff and an incredible patio. Thank you for being awesome! My fave: the salmon for dinner and the chocolate brownie for dessert. omg. although the creme brulee with rhubarb chutney was stellar as well...

Places like this make me extra happy to be living in Gibsons! The current special, a lightly smoked wild sockeye filet in a homemade bun with house salsa (bits of fresh pineapple & mango included) & their wonderful slaw, is simply divine. We went two nights in a row & my husband had the brisket the second night (which I tasted, of course). Everything done in house with pride. Sitting in the sunshine overlooking the wharf & eating a truly delicious meal. It doesn't get any better than this. Thanks for your kind words. We look forward to seeing you again soon Regards Smoke on the water BBQ

Enjoy the best dining experience on the Sunshine Coast at Chasters Restaurant - featuring scrumptious seasonal specialties, delightful desserts, signature drinks, attentive service and stunning ocean views in a smart casual atmosphere... Summer Hours: Wed
This was my first visit to Chasters and definitely not my last! The breast of duck was quite spectacular - would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys duck. The server was very personable and attentive, and the view at a window side table was gorgeous. Not a cheap place to eat (without being outlandish), but worth it from my point of view
