Things to do in Elmira
A friend and I signed up for a Beer Stein building night at Maggies Mudroom. We have been to numerous paint/craft nights at different venues around the region. This one was awesome. They served us beer from Elmira's newest brewery- Rural Roots Brewery. It was delicious. The stein building began around 7 and it was soooo much fun. They cater to all skill levels, they walked around to help out the people who request it but also encourage people who want to do things a little more independently. It was a 2 part session and we need to return to glaze and paint our steins. Overall I was pleasantly surprised with Maggies and plan on returning for more events. They have a kids club and my son is excited to visit. It's definitely worth a visit.

This is a typical Harvey's restaurant. I'm glad they offer a veggie burger that is pretty good, however, these are never ready to go, so be prepared to wait. I guess one thing I find annoying, is that when we order at the drive thru window, and we order a veggie burger, we are ALWAYS asked to pull over to the side parking lot to wait for our order, even if there are no cars behind us. I understand they take longer to cook and that cars coming behind shouldn't have to wait while we sit there, but if no one is behind us, why do we have to pull over? One server told us it's so they can say the customer was served in under 2 minutes. If that is the reason, it's ridiculous. Our wait at the side is usually more than five minutes and one time it was almost 15. I finally got out of the car to go in for our order and met a server coming out. The burger was no longer hot. Otherwise, a nice clean restaurant conveniently located on the main street. My husband loves the Angus burgers by the way!

They have the best wings I've had.... great pizza... love the small town feel. You can tell they're doing some renovations...Also, the Greek salad really surprised me. They're certainly not skimpy with the ingredients...

1st place I had food in Elmira and was not disappointed. Ordered the Pizza which was enjoyable and well made. Service is good and staff friendly. They have good options for vegetarians.

This entirely family run little gem of a pizza place makes the best pizza in the world, ask Dragita, the owner, who is so friendly, to put extra hot peppers on, they make a thin crust pizza that will have you wanting for more. I am honestly not a pizza fan, but this family knows their stuff, and when my husband brings their pizza home, the kids scream for more. you will be pleasantly surprised by our secret little hole in the wall, Palm Pizza.

This restaurant is good - nothing special but plain and simple breakfast food. Especially good to help cure a hangover!!

This place had come recommended. We both ordered the lunch special, which on a Monday was sausage on a bun, with veggies/dip, and a salad. Everything was tasty. The sausage was very meaty, fairly lean. Dip was zesty. All for $6.43 each. We will come again. Bakery in the restaurant is good, with great prices, so we purchased bread and Chelsea buns. All tasted fine.

A family restaurant in the heart of Ontarioâs Mennonite country. Featuring homestyle cooking done on the premises. We offer regular menu dining plus daily buffets which include, soups, breads, salads, hot items, and our dessert table. WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBL
I was last here 3 years ago with a friend. On this trip I came for dinner after spending the day at the Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games.Dinner was as good on this visit as the last. The dining room was the same with tables and booths and the room was very clean. The serving area had lots of options including fresh cut beef, ham, lots of vegetables, fantastic and large salad and dessert bars. In particular, the Roast Cranberry Chicken was excellent! The food was very fresh even when I arrived an hour before closing. The service was excellent! I was seated immediately, the server was very attentive without being too aggressive. While the dinner buffet appears expensive at $25.99+HST+gratuity, its' FANTASTIC VALUE! I'll be back!
