Mill Bay Pizza

We ordered 2 large 2 topping pizzas the other night and they were wonderful! I see a lot of negative reviews for this place, which I can't really understand because we were quite pleased. The pizzas were cooked well, the toppings were fresh, and the price was great ($21 for 2 large pizzas). We will definitely visit again.

This is a local take out restaurant tucked into a small strip mall on the highway but they have delivery service. It always arrives quickly and pipeing hot. Their prices are more than the chain pizza places but their pizzas are worth it. Wait times are longer in the weekends. They the cheeseburger pizza with dill pickles on it. You will love it.

Thirteen of us who live locally and have known each other for a long time. Wonderful setting with views across the golf course to the sea, Saltspring Island and the coastal mountains. Mount Baker can be seen from the deck and the sunset is spectacular. We had wonderful service from Sarina and her coworkers who treated us above and beyond...! The menu was a mixture of burgers and salads, and some interesting main dishes with monthly specialities. The chowder was excellent. Wines add to the cost, of course but not to expensive and a reasonable selectoin of these and ales. Desserts , I was told were good. Although the kitchen closed around 8.00 pm we were not pushed to leave and sat with coffee and good conversation until close to 9.0 pm. Main course all seemed to be less than 20 dollars which seems to be excellent pricing for a great evening with friends.Thank you for the detailed review. We appreciate the time you took to offer your feedback!

Merridale Eatery

Merridale is a delicious destination in Cowichan —an apple orchard, craft cider house, small batch distillery, and wedding and event venue. Our authentic Vancouver Island restaurant combines cider and spirit pairings with a farm to table inspired menu, an

Stopped here for lunch on our way up-island from Victoria. Very nice rural setting, and the cider and food is above average. My wife and I shared a charcuterie plate, and our friends had the cobb salad and homemade sausage respectively. All very nicely presented and tasty. The breads are all made on site, as are many of the condiments. They endeavour to use locally made products as much as possible. There is also a distillery on site, but we did not try any of the hard liquors.

The Cobblestone

Our pub has been family owned and operated since 1983 when Mr. Lee opened The Cobblestone as a neighbourhood pub licensed for only 65 patrons. Our focus is to create an atmosphere where our guests receive great service, have fun and feel at home. We conti

My son and I heard the pub had finally reopened so we thought we would try the Saturday breakfast. My son had a hash brown and fried egg skillet and I had the “hangover omelette.” Both were very good and bottomless coffee rounded off the meal nicely. We would definitely go back again and with the Pioneer House still not open, the Cobblestone Inn May be our new “goto” breakfast place. Overall we really liked the new decor and will try supper and a drink in the next few weeks. I am sure there will be mixed opinions on the renovations but it is much brighter and open compared to the old floor layout.
