Needing to wait a couple of hours for our Horseshoe Bay ferry sailing, we looked around for a nice spot for dinner and noticed C-Lovers restaurant patio. We ordered the Ultimate Platter, very tasty and generous for two. Service was pleasant and quicker than at a similar well-known restaurant nearby.

Family owned and operated, world famous fish and chip restaurant in beautiful Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver.
Wow! Food and service were great - fabulous menu with something for everyone. The view is stunning - never seen anything like it! Great restaurant and would go back tomorrow
What a gem! Gourmet, tasty meals , pasta dishes, soups, frozen handmade pizzas, fresh prepared and ready to heat and eat. Great flavors. If you have a oven/ toaster oven this is the place for you. Fresh baked pies too, we had the peach topped with crumbles, excellent. NIce selection of brand name specialty foods too. Fresh smoked bacon cut off the slab very nice. Croissant right out of the oven wonderful. Many vegan selections. Open Wednesday through Sunday, well worth the stop.

What an awesome experience. Sitting out on the sun deck.. watching the golfers on the first tee and the 9th...awesome service by Joy....and an absolutely amazing array of food by Chef Mario (don't know his real name but if you've ever followed him driving from the Cove, you'll know why the name)....everything from an assortment of muffins and baked goods to some salads, a selection of hot dishes (PERFECTLY presented Eggs Benedict.. nice and runny....bacon, ham, potatoes, etc. A huge ham was there to be carved... PLUS freshly prepared omelettes! I have to say that the desert table was to die for. The bread pudding cups were to die for. All types of fruit, Cinnamon buns, berry pie, lemon custard, and oh so much more! We have made reservations for next Sunday! OH and the price? $18.00 and $15 for over 60's. Doesn't get any better than that!
Branch 02 & Butter is a toast & ice cream snack bar that lives beside Branch 01, our tiny gift store, both conceived, designed and made by us, Branch & People, the design studio. We're made up of the talented people who do what they do better than anyone
Toasties have been reinvented by the imaginative owner of Branch and Butter and they are amazing. Quality, locally sourced ingredients are used to create delicious open toasties. We had "Lot A" - which includes cream cheese, fresh blueberries and mint - so good that you savour every bite. Even those on a gluten free diet can enjoy these toasties as the owner has sourced an excellent bread that is tasty and has a great texture.

Wanted a place for a last meal with visiting family that was not to fussy and not too casual. Also wanted a place near Horseshoe Bay, not because of the ferry, but because the Bay is such a special place itself. This restaurant performed perfectly. We did not need a reservation on a Wednesday night but there were enough people there to create a bit of a buzz. The food was better than average. 3 of the 4 had the halibut fish and chips and they were exceptional - for my money, the best in the Bay hands down. One person had the mussels which were disappointing in size and presentation - the restaurant needs to update their thinking about mussels in my view - the flavours were a bit tired and no one wants a giant chunk of greasy garlic bread anymore. Time to freshen this one up. But, overall it was perfect and a good time had by all.

A group of us went to the island for hiking - we reserved a table and we were offered their group menu which was substantial with plenty of choices. Our server was very efficient and friendly. I had the fish and chips - the fish was rather greasy and the chips below average.

Arrived early for a birthday party on Bowen Island, so wandered up the hill from the ferry terminal and found Doc Morganâs. Very happy to find a good selection of beer on tap from some of my favourite Vancouver-area craft breweries. We paired a couple of thirst-quenching Flagship IPAâs with a generous plate of warm spinach dip and tortilla chips. Perfect. Too bad we were heading for a party, the plates of food being delivered to the patrons around us looked equally generous and tasty. Next visit to Bowen Island will include a longer stop at Doc Morganâs for sure!

French inspirited restaurant on Bowen island , using local fresh ingredients.
The sign on their door says 'We're open and AMAZING'. Well it was pretty good, but not like their proclamation. I had trout, which was mislabelled, I think, as Rainbow trout, the flesh not the usual nice pink. However, though a bit bland, it was well presented and came with very nicely done veggies. Others had bouillabaise- to the liking of one, but not the other, judging by what was left behind. The disappointment were the mushroom ravioli, a very small serving with far too much liquid- almost a soup. Cheesecake was reported as good, the creme brule just fine, but the gf ganache was cloyingly sweet, mealy. With a glass of wine each, it came to $50/pp. So this is getting close to 3 $$$, not 2, and in my view, a bit high for what you get. That said, for Bowen, this was pretty decent.

The waitress was very friendly, service was spot on. Drinks came quickly, the appetizer too, but not too quickly! We had time to savor the appetizer (a very tasty bruschetta) before the main course arrived and a request for a drinks refill was seen to in a timely manner. The food was literally out of this world. The Rack of Lamb was probably the best I've ever tasted and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. The tiramisu was to die for. Overall the best meal, and the best dining experience, I've had in years. It was our fifteenth anniversary so we wanted something special and it really was. Thank you.
