Nous avons eu le plaisir de découvrir ce restaurant ce midi. La cuisine maison est préparée au centre de la salle avec une terrasse donnant sur la mer. Le planteur est fait avec du vrai jus de fruit et on sent bien le rhum! Les accras étaient très bon. Nous avons ensuite pris chacun un des pat du jour viande et poisson toujours aussi bon! Et surtout on a adoré les vraies frites maison! top et de très bon rapport qualité prix.

A friendly restaurant with good value food. You can order à la carte or choose from different menus (the cheapest one costs only 10 ⬠and includes entrée and dessert). The staff is friendly.

My wife and I visited this (we understand) newish marina-side restaurant for dinner in June 2019. Our hotel concierge had recommended it to us - we were not disappointed!Easy to find - look for the red/green/blue illuminated sign facing the marina (see my photograph).The lovely Giselle looked after us. We had house cocktails to start and these were beautifully presented.We both had fish for dinner. My wife enjoyed her coconut dorale, and I loved my âmixed fishâ, which was served raw with a super-hot stone to cook it upon. Delicious and very memorable.The pirate-themed decor is presented appropriately, and added to our experience - good mood music too.Overall an excellent dinner experience - highly recommended. When you see local people, I mean not only turists, going to a restaurant, then you can be sure to eat well! The place is modest but clean and what is important is what you get in your plate. The fish court bouillon and the lambis fricassee were divine. Real local fish restaurants don't bother to have starters on their menu, you go straight for main course and if you still have room, you can have a dessert. Jean-Jacques, the waiter was very friendly and was the only football supporter for l Olympique de Marseille while all the other staff members were supporters for PSG! The restaurant is doing take away as well and quite a few came to pick up food. The atmosphere was relax and people were laughing and enjoying themselves (do we have such an atmosphere in our European local restaurants? Not sure)!

One of the most intimidating things about dining in Guadeloupe for Americans is the language barrier. Chez Christine has an English menu for non French speaking customers. In addition the food is amazing. And despite the fact that the owner doesnât speak English, she was very attentive. Iâd recommend this location for any hungry traveler. Word of advice, like every restaurant in St. François you will require a reservation! And dining doesnât begin until 7pm.
