What to do and see in Opelousas, United States: The Best Places and Tips
We serve lunch daily Monday-Friday, Sunday. Menu items include Burgers, Poboys, Salads, Pork/Shrimp/Crawfish Boudin, Boudin Balls & BBQ.
Family owned restaurant run by the nicest people youâll ever meet. Super clean inside. The daily lunches are the best around. Donât expect open canned bland veggies or frozen meat. Everything is cooked to Cajun perfection. Not too peppered and seasoned just right. When the side veggies cause you to brag on the place, you know they are cooking it right. Deserts are all homemade and delicious. I eat here twice a week.Thank you so much!!! We appreciate you!!!

A little rough around the edges, but putting out some excellent boudin.I personally really enjoyed this boudin; it had some really good spice and a nice kick. My wife thought it was a little lacking since it was mostly a rice filling (I.e. very little meat if any inside)

This restaurant should be packed but on a Saturday night - empty. This is our second time and the reason we went back is because the food is excellent and we were going to give the service another opportunity to redeem themselves. Sorry to say, it was not improved and was more disappointing than our last visit. If they could only get their act together. I ordered the Tuna appetizer and asked for some soy sauce. The waitress finally came and said that they did not have any. This is really inexcusable. There are two other restaurants in the casino and she could have maybe borrowed soy sauce from them? Not sure about this. Server was unpleasant and could care less if we needed anything. We spent over $160 and don't know if we will go back again.Sorry for any frustration you experienced while you were visiting us. We pride ourselves on excellent service, so if your experience was not exceptional, then we apologize. Please let us know how we can improve. Thank you for your feedback, and we hope to see you again.
