We have had Po-boys from here a few times since moving to Gulfport and they have been excellent every time. The roast beef and ham is our fav ( has a catchy name I can't recall) and the shrimp Po-boys are very good too. I did have a cup of Gumbo recently with mixed feelings - it is more Cajun style than Creole, which I prefer, but the roux was more like a dark soup than a real roux. It did have a lot of shrimp and crab claws which was a plus. This restaurant will now be one of our "go-tos."Thank you Texas Tom for your detailed review! The Jacked up poboy is one of my favorites as well. My dad has owned Lilâ Rayâs for over forty years and still is there pretty much every day making sure his customers are happy. Please ask for myself or my dad, (David or Jennifer) next time you are in! Would love to say hi!

2 lbs. of crawfish and two pieces of corn. I ate half of it on the back tables and took half to the apt. and finished off along with some good vodka. Now if that isn't heaven I ain't going. Great crawfish either spicey of mild. Spicey was my choice and I done good.
Enjoy fresh, contemporary seafood dishes and more with sweeping Gulf views in a beautifully restored historic building beneath the oaks. Elegant but welcoming, the Blue Marlin is the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or dinner with the whole family. With
The Blue Marlin, what a delight to eat dinner in a beautiful restored building in Centennial Plaza. Centennial Plaza buildings and ground restoration are beautiful including a fantastic "dancing water fountain" with coordinated music and colored lights. We were 2 couples having Saturday night dinner in the Blue Marlin for the first time. The interior is bright, airy and inviting. We were quickly welcomed and seated at our table which had a white tablecloth and excellent settings of dinner ware. Joseph H. our waiter for the evening was at our table in less than 2 minutes. Joseph was an excellent waiter who was welcoming, courteous, helpful with the menu and attentive during our meal, a real asset to the Blue Marlin. The fresh warm bread was a delight. For starters our table had Sea Scallops, entrees of Crab-Crusted Redfish and Seafood Pasta, followed by deserts of Key Lime Pie and Chocolate Souffle. All dishes had excellent presentations and generous portions. The flavors created by the chef were extraordinary and a delight to the palate. This upscale restaurant is a welcomed delight for the coast. Blue Marlin is food for everyone, possibly not small children. I do not know if there is a children's menu. This appears to be more a teen and adult restaurant looking at the menu.We are thrilled to know you've enjoyed exceptional experiences at Centennial Plaza! It's our pleasure to have helped create these memories, and we look forward to the creating many more for years to come. Sincerely, Katy- Centennial Plaza Team

The ladies are sweet and full of southern charm......and the food is even "sweeter"!This ain't no fancy romantic candlelit dining room, but it is very very clean and inviting. Now I've heard it said that "Truth is the elixir of life"'; well this food is as close to Truth as you can get. I rocked the meatloaf and my buddy hit up the shrimp pesto......deefreakin'lishuss. I called my Mom and complained to her that she no longer loved me because she didn't cook for me like the ladies at Fallon's(she did not think I was funny). I will be returning soon and often.
