Excellent breakfast and we loved the biscuits and gravy. My wife had the bacon and grits with it and I had the sausage and hashbrowns. Everything was cooked properly and tasted great. This is a really good breakfast spot. We finished it off with some beignets. We always stop here on our visits to Galveston. That is great to hear! We're glad to see that you liked everything, and we will look forward to your next visit to the Island!

Simply stated, this was one of the worst restaurants we visited while in Galveston. Let's start with the super slow service. It took almost a full hour for my family and I to receive our food! The cashier was boderline rude, kind of unfriendly. We sat outside and waited and waited, then finally when the food came, it was horrible. I ordered the crab cakes based on the reviews. These were the biggest, bread filled crab cake. You COULD NOT tast any crab. They were so big, becasue it was like eating a dough ball flattened with a pinch of crab meat, just horrible. My husband has a wheat allergy, and we told them this, so the seafood platter but grilled was suggested. Well, my husbands food came out battered FIRST, but grilled! who grills battered seafood? It was horrible, so, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Nate's West End is a fun, casual, family friendly bar & grill on the west end of Galveston Island. Come see why we're a favorite spot for locals and tourists alike. Try house favorites like Pecan Crusted Red Snapper, Grilled Fresh Gulf Flounder, plus Hand
This was my third or fourth time to eat at Nateâs. Iâve never been disappointed. Iâve had Chicken Fried Steak, Red Snapper, and Fried Shrimp! The okra is fantastic, but the slaw is lacking. Itâs always busy. Monday night is Martini Night and rumor is they are pretty good. The building is not impressive. But like they say - You canât judge a book by itâs cover. Well, you also canât judge a seaside restaurant by itâs shell. I certainly be back!
