A sunny mid-winter sunday. Escape the city, strolling along the Brandenburgish countryside. Looking for some refreshments, secluded, in the literal middle of nowhere, resides a century old typical regional farm. Sour rounded by the buildings lais a romantic court with trees and lawn where the tables are decked on a sunny day. This gives the cafe its name Vierseitenhof - Foursquare court. While the ambiance is welcoming, the homemade cakes are dangerously mouthwatering. Enjoy homemade hot chocolate and a decent piece of cake - no worries, you have hiked a bit before. Worth a trip!

Just a cafe au lait or a three course lunch. Super home made food and great ice cream. Parking outside the door. It's no surprise that this place continues to be so popular. I only know it from Sunday afternoons when,although it is full,the service is attentive and swift. Some problems (Funkloch) with mobile phone reception - you have to go outside if you are awaiting a call.

I've ordered beef steak and coffee. from the main course I liked the potato the most. the espresso was awful, couldn't finish it after taking two sips.there's wifi in the restaurant but no internet connection if you have no subscription.
