This place is wonderful! A great way to spend a nice breakfast or lunch with family or, if you need a little 'alone' time, go by yourself and sit at the 'bar'. Food is delicious and the portions are generous. The folks who work there are efficient and super nice. Prices are very reasonable. The only thing I think could be improved is the coffee. It seems a little on the weak side. I remember that years ago it seemed a little weak, then it improved and now it seems a little weak again. But, this may be personal preference. Anyway, yes! Go to King Street Cafe for a great breakfast or lunch! You'll be glad you did!
If you are a Keurig user, you cannot get a better deal on the real coffee brands you love! Java Johnny is running a heck of place here and Staci, the Norfolk manager is very well educated about each and every kind of coffee and tea they sell. I make a weekly stop at One Cup!

My grandson and I just took our annual bonding trip together. He wanted to visit the An Unlikely Story Bookstore in Plainville, Massachusetts. It is partially owned by Jeff Kinney, the author of the very well known Wimpy Kid book series. The shop itself is a throwback to bookstores we all remember, before the giant mall palaces took over. There are tons of titles, games and educational toys for kids. My guy is ten so he totally enjoyed himself. He also remembered to pick up a few things for his five year old brother who was at home. Grandpa got the bill and the thrill of his life watching my best buddy so enjoy himself! You can cover the entire store in an hour or so and even stop to have a mug and a muffin at their super sharp cafe. Make it a stop on your way North or South and watch your kids eyes pop out! We also picked up some autographed Wimpy Kids Book by Jeff Kinney and on our next trip up that way hope to meet him, as he is there a good deal of the time.

Sometimes looking for breakfast after 11am gets difficult but this restaurant serves it until closing at 2Regularly expected menu choices of omelets, French toast and eggs, eggs, eggs. Food was standard breakfast quality, nothing more or less. Coffee pretty weak with 0 taste, service was very good and attentive. The decor is from decades ago with each wall a different bold color; looks dated rather than eclectic. Many other choices in the area.
