I am a coach driver who often finds himself with time to kill in Bruton, so I head to Cat's for breakfast. The cafe is located in the back of a convenience store and is fairly basic but pleasant enough, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. I always go for the Full English Breakfast which is a substantial meal and sets me up for the day. The ingredients are good quality, especially the delicious sausages. The coffee is superb, better than any of the big High Street chains in my opinion. Prices are very reasonable, and I am happy to recommend this place to anyone looking for a bite to eat in Bruton.

Nestled the beautiful Somerset countryside, On The Brook is a short walk from the centre of Bruton. Our delicious plates include vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options. All our dishes are home made, from scratch using ingredients grown on our farm. We
The perfect accommodation for a couple and our dog. Underfloor heating, wonderful aspect and fabulous hosts. The breakfast options are top notch with a selection from the main menu. A ten minute stroll into Bruton town where there are cozy pubs and quality galleries. Four nights of comfort and relaxation. Thank you Sophie for making us so welcome, we will return! Highly recommended.Dear Barry,We hope Sylvia Betty and yourself had a great stay. We look forward to welcoming you again. I will make sure we have plenty of confit onions and sharp apple juice at hand!

Café Newt was established just over two years ago to provide the local community with somewhere else to eat and drink with a difference on the Wyke side of Gillingham, Dorset. The added attraction is a showroom of rare and exclusive bikes to view or even
We have been past this several times a day and about time we went in.Park round the back and that takes you in via the gardens which are lovely. There is plenty of room to sit inside and out.The menu is actually very good, plenty of selection for adults and children alike. we went on a Saturday afternoon and I thought it would be packed. It was busy but not too packed so we sat outside.Place your order and by the time you have had a quick look at the bikes it has arrived. Children's meal very good and a nice size, adult largest breakfast totally superb. The value, portion size, seating and views are great, the staff even better, polite, chatty and delivered the goods. We will be back.

Likes:+ Large, spacious and comfortable restaurant tables and chairs+ Attentive and friendly staff+ Terrace area+ Extensive menu (breakfast and lunch, desserts etc)+ Complimentary wi-fi+ Interesting venue with a brush museum and shop+ Conveniently sited near the A303 Mere exitDislikes:- Hardly anything vegan; some vegetarian options- A relatively small mixed bean salad at £9 was a little dear- The french fries had undergone some unusual and transformational cooking process that rendered them pretty inedible (maybe refried multiple times?)Hi! Where to eat Pub food in Wincanton: The Best Restaurants and Bars

We were on a cycling holiday, didn't know the area and went in by accident looking for bread. This was a very happy mistake as once inside we realised that this is the home of exceptional cake, and a lovely thai restaurant, and both elements it carries off beautifully. We opted for cake, some of the best we have ever tasted (I had a passion fruit sponge). It wasn't fussy or over-complicated and tasted every bit as good as it looked with a just-out-of-the-oven freshness. We ate in the oasis of a patio at the back full of flowers and a clambering grape vine.
Called in for a brunch on Tuesday 30th October 2018. The cafe is tucked away in a very small modern style shopping centre dominated by hairdressing salons. You could easily miss spotting the cafe.I had a full English breakfast which was of good quality and served by friendly staff.Premises are very clean and bright.

With grey skies and heavy rain fore-casted over the weekend, we set off from Wiltshire on Saturday morning to visit a few of our favourite Somerset towns - Castle Cary, Bruton and, finally, Wincanton where we discovered the absolutely delightful Seed Cafe. Lovely food and drink (a green tea beyond compare) and oh so very friendly staff. The people of Wincanton are very fortunate to have the Seed Cafe in their midst!

Stopped for lunchtime sandwich and really pleased I did. Very wide choice of made to order sandwiches, plus loads and loads of other options. Terrific and friendly service. Very much worth the minor detour from the A303. And there's free parking around the corner, too!
Visited with my two year old and she really enjoyed the mini village. All the staff are friendly and helpful. It's clean and tidy and a really well thought out space. They also hire it our for parties which would be lovely if it was a bit more local for us. Its 2.95 for a child and one adult then 1.50 for an additional adult. The food is lovely however I would rather the children's sandwich was made in brown bread and it would have been nicer to be given a choice of fruit as my daughter didn't like the ones we were given. Also the downstairs space could do with some comfy seating which would make it more breastfeeding friendly. Would highly recommend a trip here.
