Travelling from Providence to Rhode Island for the day, we wanted to get breakfast en-route - chose Sunnyside and weren't disappointed. With a traditional US diner feel and friendly staff it was nice to eat with the 'locals' who clearly know tasty food when they see it and who were also super welcoming with lots of tips for us tourists. A really nice touch was the complimentary 'coffee-milk' a Rhode Island speciality which we've now brought back to the UK with us!

We have made many lunch time catering orders from this location due to limited options. First, we have to order 50% more than the per person suggested portions because they are all half sandwiches on the catering menu which are definitely on the skimpy side as far as fillings for the most part. If the person ordering doesn't specify, then they add an excessive number of vegetarian sandwiches which consists of bread, couple slices of tomato, lettuce, a little hummus, and sprinkled cheese. I think this is pretty ridiculous. The salads and cookies are usually really decent quality however. The delivery crew often forgets items because they have said that they are overwhelmed. I would say the food is definitely priced at a premium for delivery as well. It's interesting that the quality seems to be better and quantity more when dining in. Given a choice, I would go elsewhere.

Met here for lunch and was impressed with the size, layout of the restaurant and selections offered. The dessert selections were amazing. The food items, soup and sandwiches were well prepared, and tasted delicious. The three of us had no complaints. Also an extensive list of beverages. There is outside seating weather permitting, but remember, since there is no smoking inside, this is were the smokers congregate. Pity, you can not enjoy the fresh outdoor air without smelling smoke. Some self service and some deliver to table service, but order at counter and pay there. Restrooms were very clean. Wheelchair accessible. Free wifi.
