We had an early lunch here on a Tuesday and it was just as the lunch rush was starting. By the time we left, every table was occupied. Most of the folks were greeted by name as they took their seats and those who were not were politely informed that breakfast was available all day but that we were looking at the lunch menu. It was fun to judge who the locals were by how they were greeted as they came in.We both had burgers and they were well prepared, served with pleasant service, and were tasty. Nothing fancy but that wasn't what we were looking for.

Being our first visit to Wagoner, OK were anxious to try new places to eat. Someone told us the Red Rooster had good sandwiches; we were not disappointed! We were seated promptly, drinks delivered in short order and our sandwiches served in a timely manner. Our server checked back with us as well as the proprietor. My wife and I each ordered a club sandwich (bacon included) and enjoyed each bite. It was well displayed and appealing. Although we did not order dessert there was a very tempting display of each choice available. Undoubtedly a challenging situation to deal with as they all appeared to be an excellent âfull-fillingâ opportunity. If we return to Wagoner for Bluegrass Music in the future we will check them out once again! A good choice for a ânot so heavyâ meal.
