Find out what Cafe restaurants to try in Twickenham. Twickenham is a suburban area and town in Greater London, lying on the River Thames 10.2 miles west-southwest of the centre of London. It has an extensive town centre and is famous as being the home of rugby union, with hundreds of thousands of spectators visiting Twickenham Stadium, the world's largest rugby stadium, each year. The historic riverside area is famous for its network of 18th-century buildings and pleasure grounds, many of which survive intact. This area has three grand period mansions with public access: York House, Marble Hill and Strawberry Hill House. Another has been lost, that belonging to 18th-century aphoristic poet Alexander Pope. Among these is the Neo-Gothic prototype home of Horace Walpole which has given its name to a whole district, Strawberry Hill, and is linked with the oldest Roman Catholic university in the country, St Mary's University, Twickenham.

Had a great time in this little cafe prior to attending the Army versus Navy Rugby match at Twickenham on the 5 May 2018. My family had arranged a belated birthday party and Karen the owner was amazing, very attentive and funny, food brilliant, bacon butties to die for. Many thanks Karen and your staff.

We are regulars. Whether we design our own salads, select a lunch from their boards, or from the specials, meals at Corto are always great. I'm confident when taking a friends that the experience will be good. We avoid it on days when there are too many prams, it's a little small for lots of buggies, but we're never disappointed with the food and service. A Twickenham treat for lunch.

Vibrant plant-based, vegan eating that's good for the soul in the heart of Richmond. The Retreat Kitchen is owned by Maggie Nuttall and Claire Langdon from the BBC's The Retreat programme featuring Nick Knowles. Serving organic, vegan breakfast and lunch
The restaurant/cafe is about 15 minute walk from Richmond Station and minutes from the main George Street..A very friendly place with a good variety of food and drinks. The cakes looked scrumptious. We wanted a light lunch so decided on the Beetroot wrap and the Portobello MeltBoth were excellent.Afterwards, why not take a stroll along Hill Rise to Richmond Park, passing the stunning famous views of the Thames from the top of the hill. Enjoy !

Here comes our brand new food station. Get up on the train and have a nice journey in the labyrinths of flavors, spices and temptations!
Recommended this place by a couple we met in the pub the night before. What a fabulous place. Simple food done extremely well. Good variety and not just vegetarian either, they do sell bacon . As the name suggests that was my choice of breakfast and my hubby had the vegetarian option (although not neither of us are ). Great food, service was good too especially as the young lady was serving on her own. Well done to her, didn't see her name but she deserves a medal as when we left around 9.30, it was getting very busy with gorups of fans in there. If we ever come back to Twickenham , this will definetly be on our list.

Great local cafe with lovely quality food, great service by friendly staff. We have pretty much tasted the entire menu, Eggs Fallow are one of my favourites as well as the toasted banana bread and the full herd breakfast... burgers are also great, never had anything I didnât like here apart from the dry Lemon drizzle cake once!Cake selection can be a bit weird, last time I checked they had too many vegetables in for my liking but each to true own!Our familyâs favourite breakfast place including dog!

A small place on the high street, so might be best to reserve to ensure a table. Friendly, efficient service (from the owner?). Flexible enough to have a mixed charcuterie/cheese platter (not on the menu). Every dish we ordered was excellent quality, suitable size and well presented. The suckling pig was well flavoured, but maybe could have had more interesting accompaniments. Only reservation was that, as we are not great pasta or pizza fans, we might have struggled to choose on a second visit. Recommended.

A bit of a disaster really. Avoid. First they messed up my order by leaving in something I can't eat which makes my mouth swell. They remade it but didn't cook the prawns properly. I returned it for it to be cooked. When I got it back the prawns were charred on each side but barely cooked through. The quality overall was poor (food and wine) - some of the worst I've ever had and I waited a long time for everything. At the end of the meal I was told the place is cash only. I went to the bank for cash and paid full price (having been offered more wine after the first error) but left feeling angry and concerned I might get ill.

This place has everything going for it.First and foremost the food is delicious. They somehow manage to transform ingredients that youâre used to seeing into rich, mouth watering delights (which look pretty good too). Iâd definitely recommend the Shishandaz - it was incredible. The service was great. The women who was running the front did a heroic job, especially as the place was a 100% full the entire time weâre there. People just kept coming; although fortunately no-one seemed to have to wait long for a table. When there was a tiny issue with our order they were incredibly apologetic and went out of their way to rectify it.The decoration is interesting, with lots of little stylish touches. Overall we canât wait to go back.

Great value, great food, great service. Highly recommended, the best Mezze for miles around. A busy, busy restaurant serving quality, fresh, well presented food. Not designed for 'lingering meals' but the place is 'buzzing'.
