Reviews on Cafe food in Tubingen, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. Some towns have peach festivals. Some have blueberry festivals. Some even have onion festivals. All of those are nice, but we think Tubingen made the right call in hosting a chocolate festival. It’s the biggest in Europe and is held in early December. At any time of year, travelers will enjoy exploring this sweet-toothed university town.

This is a friendly café, with smiling personnel, serving a range of brunch-like food: salads, sandwiches, toasts, eggs, fruit, cakes and a number of teas and coffee-based drinks (lactose-free and vegetarian options available). The food is good quality, prepared fresh and with great care. It's simple, but if a restaurant is not what you're looking for (I wasn't!) this place will keep you happy from breakfast to afternoon-tea time: I'd happily even visit them for dinner, were it open.Recommended!

The Collegium in Tubingen combines more than five years cafe, bistro and bar in einem- and with success.
ive never eaten there. just drinks in the evening and night.if you dont like very crowded places, avoid it during the night and during the semester (on the other side: its in the middle of the old quarter, so you could just walk by it and check youself if its crowded or not).due to the young customer base its easy to get in touch with new people.

Tasty falafel, we had the falafel with hummus, extra spicy. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Their homemade apple schorley was good, too.

Very good coffee - including cortados - and nice, small pastries and cakes. A range of coffee beans and leaf teas to buy to take away as well.Nice, slightly old-fashioned decoration - perhaps original. Seems to be established since the 1950s.Seats outside only. No toilets.
