Reviews on Cafe food in Trinidad, Caribbean. Looking for a Caribbean cultural melting pot renowned for its Carnival and pulsating to the beat of steel drums, soca music, and calypso? Trinidad is also lined with relaxing beaches and rainforest waterfalls. Nature watching is colorfully kaleidoscopic, with over 450 bird, 600 butterfly, and 700 orchid species. Golf, hiking, mountain biking, surfing, kayaking, fishing, and boating are among the outdoor pastimes. Cool off with fresh cane juice and sea moss milkshakes. Vegetarian food is plentiful. Eat curries and explore India’s influence at Maha Sabha Indian Caribbean Museum and the Waterloo Temple over the sea. Visit Port of Spain, and stroll and jog in Queen’s Park Savannah, near the Botanical Gardens, Emperor Valley Zoo, and Magnificent Seven buildings. The Savannah attracts truckloads of fresh coconuts, and doubles men sell coveted aloo pies. Walk around Independence Square and the Brian Lara Promenade. The Central Bank Money Museum in downtown’s financial district displays doubloons, gold bars, and Slave Savings Bank memorabilia. View Columbus Square’s 1836 Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Parliament meets in Woodford Square’s Red House. King’s Wharf is where cruise ships and Tobago ferries dock. The Venezuela ferry docks at Williams Bay. Near the Chaguaramas Military History & Aerospace Museum is a marina with yachts, sailboats, dry docks, and boat hires. The South Quay’s Fort San Andreas, built by Spain in the 1700s, has a small Port of Spain history museum branch of the National Museum and Art Gallery of Trinidad and Tobago.

Very nice outside dining space on an expansive terrace. Easy parking in underground garage. Very friendly staff. Limited menu but some lovely small dishes with fresh ingredients. Particularly enjoyed the shrimp & avocado on toast and a beautifully cooked chicken breast (moist and tender) with herbs and ratatouille. Reasonably priced.

It is a well-known bakery/ small restaurant. Very popular and exceptional baked goods, Adam's is a family owned and operated bakery, restaurant, and gourmet shop, located in the heart of Maraval, Trinidad & Tobago. Build on core values of fresh ingredient
So... there are mixed feelings involved lol. Generally, I like this place, the decor and variety of food options, whether they be their breakfast or pastries. I have been to their breakfast before (good serving sizes, affordable prices and food was fine) so that experience would be a 4 star rating. However, this visit was for the pastries. I was desperate to try their sorrel cheesecake and I was so relieved I only tried the mini and not get the entire cake as I was initially tempted. The cheesecake was dense, heavy and the sorrel topping was dry and shredded. It probably was one of the worst cheesecakes Iâve ever had. Also, the customer service experience at this visit wasnât great. Hope it has improved since then but nope, no more any kind of cheesecake for me there. Breakfast? Sure :)

My first experience at Bisou Bistro was indeed memorable. One can anticipate beyond first-class culinary expertise at an affordable price! I am impressed at the high quality of service, concise but profound menu and quaint ambience. It is an unexpected breath of fresh air in the busy city of Tunapuna.
