We all know Costa. This costa site is the same as any other. However, here there are plenty of tables to sit at and a small outside area available too. The staff are friendly and actually clear the tables! I usually visit to crack on with some paper work- itâs a relaxing site

Itâs been a while since my first visit. I walked in to a packed out room, very warm!Went to the counter to order. No one greeted me for a while, started wondering if I should have sat down first. Ordered at the till with a young boy. Being Sunday, I guess a lot of weekend staff were in, which was great as the tables were being cleared quickly. Thatâs about the only up side to my visit.Ordered a latte- soya latte due to allergies. + 50p for soya milk.. £3.20 for a coffee.. okay, Iâve seen the coffees going out, looked good, donât mind paying that. After around 10 minutes my latte was brought over to my table. Plain latte- very weak looking. Thick foam on top.. didnât look anything like any other coffee being sent out.. now, Iâm expecting a reply to say how hard it is to work with soya milk and milk alternatives. Yes it is a little different, but itâs not hard! I myself am a barista, looking for the best coffee shops is what I do. Would have liked to take a cake too, but nothing in the display counter was labelled or priced so I skipped that..
What a lovely quaint spot to rest after a beautiful walk around the park! Cafe in the park serves hot chocolate which is out of this world! It is served with cream and marshmallows and beats costa hands down. Brilliant homemade food and service with a smile! Delicious! Will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Excellent little English cafe. Serves all day English breakfast in a variety of combinations plus a great selection of omelettes etc...
My husband and I were staying for a few days at my son's house looking after his kitten we decided to call in for Breakfast on Sunday morning. The place was clean and we were asked for our drinks order immediately we sat down. I ordered a decafe black filter coffee and my husband ordered a pot of tea when the drinks arrived my husband got his tea but I was given a cappuccino this was corrected and apologised for immediately. I ordered the early starter breakfast it had scrambled eggs and and beans I can't eat beans and asked if I could swap the beans for an extra tomato I also asked if I could swap the scrambled egg for fried which the waitress said fine no problem. The breakfasts duly arrived they looked delicious but I noted that I only had one tomato but decided not to make a fuss. The food was tasty and hot and well cooked. I would have given this Cafe 5 stars but due to the wrong drink and only one tomato had to mark it down. All in all we would return and hopefully next time everything would be right. I do recommend as it was good value for money and very good service.
Had such a lovely afternoon tea today with my mum and sister. There was so much food and it was all delicious, we will definitely be back. Only thing we would add was maybe a little salad in the sandwiches which would have made it perfect, but otherwise everything was spot on. Including the friendly staff.

Six of us, four adults and two children went to this cafe whilst visiting Chartwell and I for one wish we hadn't bothered. Now it was during half term school holiday and yes it was raining but instead of finding a cheery place to get warm we found ourselves in a very packed, not to clean cafe where the staff just didn't seem to care as long as they got their money. Tables were in short supply and consequently piles of previous occupants dishes were stacked up and even when cleared by staff the tables were no cleaned. It was very busy and we stood in a queue for a good ten minutes only to find when we arrived at the serving counter that the soup to be changed from French onion to squash and a nice server telling us that 'no that lady there got the last baked potato' . How can you run out of baked potatoes for goodness sake? The price of the food and drinks were expensive and there seemed to be a genuine lack of care or concern to customers. Some direction and management would certainly not go amiss. I will go back to Chartwell hopefully but not to this cafe and next time we will be taking a picnic - I suggest you do the same.

Jimmys is not the most eye-appealing place. Itâs looking a bit tired these days, though itâs nicely painted, clean etc. Just dead old-fashioned really. Old fashioned place with old-fashioned grub I suppose. But whatâs not to like? £5.95 buys you a 2 bacon, sausage, egg, fried bread, tomato, mushrooms breakfast with a large coffee which is far from 2018 restaurant prices! But... none of your old-time swimming in grease. A nicely cooked fry up you could almost fool yourself was healthy. Well, healthier than many greasy-spoons anyway. Even the fried bread is well-drained, the bacon has no huge areas of fat, the tomatoes and mushrooms are fresh. Lovely! Now m really not trying to pretend Jimmys is some sort of health-farm or veggie hangout. Itâs good old fashioned grub that keeps you going on a busy day, or is a rare treat when youâve got an empty fridge. They could do with updating it a bit to modern standards, but then I guess theyâd have to put up the prices to pay for it....and thatâd be a shame. So Jimmys will hopefully stay the same, hidden way down Avebury Avenue, just off Tonbridge High Street, and will remain a favourite for all us locals who know just how good Jimmys is. âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

Overlooking Broadview Gardens, Broadview Tea Room is the perfect place to relax and catch up with your friends. Using locally sourced ingredients, Broadview Tea Room is the perfect place to relax after a tour around the Gardens or a visit to the Garden Ce
Afternoon tea was lovely, freshly made sandwiches, scones and cakes. Plenty of seating but think it might be wise to book has it was very busy. Lovely garden centre next door to tea room and car park has ample parking. But if an hidden gem, definitely worth a visit.
