Love this wee place, it's situated across from bus stance in Alloa town centre. Prices are reasonable. They do hot , cold filled rolls, toasted , paninis. Loads more. I pop in often for a roll on sausage, .good quality butcher meat. Friendly staff, always smiling

Had a lovely lunch here today with my husband and mother-in-law.Fabulous home made soup, so nice to have 'proper' soup. We then had two macaroni and a mince.Very well presented and nice and hot, again fresh and home made, cheese sauce was delicious. Lovely cafe area, clean and comfortable, also extremely busy.Staff were attentive and service was excellent. Good value and will definitely return. Artworks in the car park area unusual and striking. There is also a fine area selling bespoke wood items, expensive, but beautifully crafted.Well worth a visit.

My wife and I have been in this cafe several times for lunch and visited again today for some food. We ordered sandwiches and coffees which arrived very quickly and were to their usual high standard. However, whilst sitting in the express café we noted that the girl making up the sandwiches was using her hands to remove various sandwich fillings without recourse to any implements. On previous visits we had noted that plastic gloves were always used for both hygiene reasons and also to prevent cross contamination which I support and encourage wholeheartedly.

Morrisons Cafe in Alloa is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. My only criticism is the scones. I went there with a friend and we both chose to have the scones but they were so dry, they simply crumbled as you tried to spread them. This is not just an Alloa issue; it's a Morrissons one as the same happened in the Stirling store. Perhaps the recipe needs changed to make the experience better. I've also had meals there and I have not been disappointed with them at all. So, once the scone issue is sorted, I'd give Morrisons Cafe in Alloa an exceelent rating.

I came here with a friend and had a very nice lunch. They serve a variety of breakfast options, soup, baked potatoes, sandwiches, toasties, paninis and wraps. I had a panini with roasted vegetables and mozzarella. It came with a dressed side salad, coleslaw and tortilla chips. It was very tasty and, together with a can of juice, cost £5. Good table service from friendly staff. They also offer gluten free options. They had a range of cakes on display too. Thank you for your lovely review! We are so glad that you enjoyed your lunch at Makers!Kind regards,Nicole

I called in here on a Sunday lunchtime after walking in Alva Glen and opted for the ham and cheese croissant, which was on the specials board. It was a generous portion with plenty ham and cheese, and there was plenty salad garnish around it. My only quibble is that I had expected it would come hot. That would have made such a difference. I had a coffee and piece of cake afterwards which was very tasty. It's a nice little place.I myself made your croissant and heated it before adding the filling.I believe it Sat on your table for a good few minutes before you started to eat it and therefore cooled down.My assistant asked if everything was ok and you said yes.If you had mentioned it when you were in I would have replaced it for you.

A warm friendly welcome awaits everybody at this small vintage tearoom with stunning views of the Ochil hills. Serving breakfasts, light lunches, delicious home baking and a wide selection of teas and coffees. Everything is also available to take away.
Visited on a Saturday morning, Several empty tables when we arrived but soon filled up. Clean and bright place. Ordered breakfast with some slight variations, eg a MUG of coffee and Marmalade instead of Jam. Seemed to be a long wait, No mug of coffee Toast and Marmalade nicely served on a plate that was too small, and my wife enjoyed the pancakes Bacon and maple syrup dish. If they put food on plates according to size required rather than for appearance the place would have got an excellent.

Had lunch in mid week with my wife. The place was very busy with a five minute wait for a table. Had a Ham sandwich between us and a scone each with tea. Service was very good and the food is great. Recommended.
