No.5 is our favourite go-to place for lunch in Buxton. Such a large array of goodies and home made food. My favourite is the cream of chicken soup, which unfortunately is only available in winter! Despite the fact, that there is little parking nearby and not a lot of seating, we have, thankfully, always managed to get in. Thoroughly recommended.

Fully Licensed Tea Rooms, serving breakfasts and lunches. We serve an array of homemade cakes, with a wide selection of hot & cold drinks available.
We enjoyed delicious ham, eggs and chips followed by equally delicious apple pie served by friendly, smiling staff. And we were fascinated by the story told on the menu of the history of the building, including the fact that for many years there was a public footpath which went right through it and which was used by funeral processions going to the church. Now internally it is light and bright with an ideal ambience for a relaxing lunch. To be recommended.

Eyam Tea Room is a licensed Tearoom and provides a good Home Cooking approach aiming to meet a variety of tastes. We welcome cyclists, walkers and school groups both large and small. If possible to let us know that a large group is coming so that we can r
Very friendly staff and good range of food available - can recommend the scones, served warm, melt in the mouth and delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating in the centre of the village so easy to find and well worth a visit despite the calorie count !

Super little cafe perfectly located in the heritage village of Eyam in the Peak District. We bake gorgeous cakes and cook tasty savouries 7 days a week for you to enjoy, using fantastic local produce. Our coffee is Fairtrade, organic and rainforest certif
Very pleasant cafe with a good range of food. However we thought the cakes were expensive - a slice of carrot cake at £3.75 was somewhat too steep for us (no prices displayed but we were glad we asked before ordering) so we just had drinks which were nice. Friendly staff and good service so well worth a visit, but watch those prices. Many thanks for your review; just a comment re our prices - all our cakes are small batch & hand made on the premises from premium quality ingredients (butter/free range eggs/real vanilla extracts etc). Portions are generous and customers often share a piece of our layer cakes because of that and traybake prices start at 2.50.Prices are also inclusive of VAT, reflect our commitment to sustainable business practices which attract higher overheads (compostable cups etc; increased recycling costs and paying staff fairly and above minimum wage).Iâm glad you enjoyed your drinks and experienced good service. Best wishes, Sara

We visited here at the start of our walk and bought homemade Eccles cakes & fruit & seed flapjack for our walk. The choice of cakes made it difficult to choose. Both cakes were absolutely delicious. The lady behind the counter was very friendly. They also serve hot & cold drinks if you want to eat there. Itâs a community based shop/ cafe so great to support the locals. Highly recommended

Itâs always nice when you become âa regularâ and donât have to list your order. Had bacon/egg baps this morning, together with real tea (no teabags here). And sat watching it trying to snow outside - yes, in October!

Welcome to The Yondermann cafe where Julie, Alasdair and team will offer you an authentic Derbyshire experience in the beautiful Peak District. â Our cafe has operated on this site for over 60 years and since we have owned the cafe in 2008 we have strived
Visited with my daughter - sheâs been nagging me to try out the breakfast here since visiting a while ago. So - if you like your full English and you like it large then this is a good spot. The board shows quite a number of size options for both the standard breakfast and the Yondermann breakfast - the latter featuring extras such as black pudding, oat cake and comes with tea or coffee. We arrived just after opening , 08:00, for Sunday breakfast and there were already a number of breakfasters tucking in. Itâs not a fancy cafe, pretty utilitarian in fact but the quality of breakfast is good - the only thing that let it down ( in my opinion) was the coffee wasnât great. But that said really enjoyed the Large Yondermann complete with toast and was sufficiently stuffed to avoid the need for eating until evening meal. As in all things you get what you pay for - not the cheapest but worth a go. Will be back.

We have moved to a larger premises and have now become a Bistro, offering a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and delicious evening meals on Friday and Saturday nights
What a treat this place is. We called for lunch after a walk and couldnât have been made more welcome. The sweet potatoe, spinach and chick pea curry was one of the best I have had. Excellent naan to accompany. My wife had poached eggs on toast , which sounds v simple but they were cooked to perfection, and on really tasty toasted bread. We live 40 mins away but would seriously consider one of their themed nights. The only negative which wasnât from us but a neighbouring table commenting to each other the coffee was weak, and we noticed another table had left some. This bistro deserves to succeed.Thank you very much for your lovely review and pleased you enjoyed your meal. Thanks for your feedback regarding the coffee and we have increased the strength Warm regardsDenise
