Almost missed this cafe whilst walking towards the supermarket on the way out of Tarifa. Definitely worth popping in. Very tastefully decorated. Nice and bright, with one table in the sunshine on the pavement outside. Menu is breakfast/brunch focussed and varied and has a âhealthâ focus. Range of vegetarian and vegan options and prices all pretty reasonable. I had salmon toast, with avocado, Rico last, red onion and vegan wasabi Ali-oil. â¬4Range of teas, coffees, juices and beers.

We were staying at the campsite opposite and called in to the Ozu-Bar for breakfast one morning. Lovely selection of breakfast foods and coffee. The healthy breakfast was delicious, muesli, oats, yoghurt, fresh fruit and all beautifully presented. The Ozu-Bar never seemed busy, plenty of seats for chilling and relaxing, excellent location, definitely worth a visit especially if you're staying at the Rio Jara campsite.

This place is located just outside tarifa on the main road leading from Malaga to Cadiz. The outside area is very relaxing with some hammocks and beanbags. There are palm-trees to complete the picture. Unfortunately the food is a bit mediocre. Tarifa has some Amazing places which serve you all kind of dishes, fresh, healthy,, tapas. Whatever you feel like.Wet Cafe only has mostly (pre made) sandwiches that are really expensive according to tarifa standards. We ordered the yoghurt with fruit which was nice but almost double to what you would pay in town. I'd say go for a drink, but have food somewhere else. @owners do all the sandwiches really have to be wrapped in plastic? It goes against the whole healthy and fresh feeling. Why not make it when needed and reduce your waste? I'm sure people will appreciate that.

Called in for lunch and cold drinks after exploring the old town and so glad we did. Very friendly husband and wife team, responsible for the artwork and excellent food. Menu was explained thoroughly in English and the food was better than expected. Wonderful home made lemonade and iced tea and the goats cheese salad was to die for. Quirky but interesting decor. If we were staying longer in Tarifa we would certainly return.

Visited The Grow Cafe for lunch. Waited 50 minutes without my food arriving. Asked where it was to find out the waitress never took the order properly. My one half portion seitan burrito arrived finally, which was tasteless. My half portion veg wok arrived with brown rice instead of the noodles I ordered, so I sent this back and waited another 15 minutes with nothing arriving. My partners crepe was tasteless - like cardboard! Iâve eaten vegan food all over the world and this was simply dreadful...

We were walking off the beaten track in downtown Tarifa where we came across this little gem of a cafe which served healthy fresh food at a reasonable price, especially compared to the local beach bars on the seafront.I had a lovely salad bowl with quinoa whilst my partner made up his own meal which the staff were happy to cook for him. The staff were friendly and very warm and made us feel welcome, and even made us a free pot of tea! After three weeks of Spanish food we were grateful for a tea and a more international type of food, with the added bonus that the staff spoke English so we didn't have to inflict our bad Spanish on anyone. It really is worth the walk down to the Mercado at the bottom of the town at Tarifa where the new shopping area is beginning to shape up.Don't be put off by the surrounding building projects as you have the opportunity to sit and chill with some lovely people and good healthy food, most vegetarian but also meat too so something for everyone really.
