We drove past and noticed the $8 sign for lunch. Decided to give it a go. Delicious chinese! Pork dumplings, honey chicken and beef in black bean! Great value! Def going back!

I think Bush Tukka is a project designed to teach catering to TAFE students. The food is all home made and very reasonably priced. We've eaten here many times and always found the service and the food very good. Yesterday I had chicken curry ($10) and it had the most amazing flavour. I was told that it was lemon myrtle and wattle seeds. My partner had the hamburger ($6) which was a good old-fashioned burger with tomato, beetroot, lettuce. Nice coffee too.

After stopping over at Taree, we arrived by taxi just at the time the kitchen should have been closing. The staff were incredibly patient whilst we were looking at the menu, and allowed us the time without rushing to choose what we would like to eat.I am a very fussy meat eater, and the fillet steak was cooked to perfection. I will definitely visit again on my next stopover at Taree.

A few minutes out of Taree this cafe/restaurant does all meals except dinner (closes late afternoon). We discovered this place on a recommendation from a friend. Great for a meal or morning/afternoon tea. Service very friendly & efficient. Food is just great. Obviously an owner that knows quality & customer service will keep people coming back. It has a large veranda area with a very pleasant view overlooking adjoining farmland.

The breakfast special of two sausages, two eggs and toast for $8 is excellent value. My husband is allergic to eggs, so he asked for bacon as a substitute with the sausages, tomatoes and eggs. No problem. The coffee is strong and hot. The service efficient and friendly. Staff great.

Went here for breaky, good selection on the menu. The scrambled eggs were very nice, served with thick buttery toast. The kids had bacon and eggs rolls, which they enjoyed. Lots of space in the cafe, with two rooms to sit or tables outside in the sun. Service was prompt and friendly.

This morning I was looking for breakfast and a coffee whilst waiting for my car to be serviced. Inside Manning Mall I found Peoples, I ordered a coffee and the big breakfast (all good ) then the cashier advised that their most expensive breakfast $16.95 doesn't come with eggs!! They are extra. I ordered two poached eggs and was told the bill would be $21 oh no oops that will be $23. I was hoping that they would get the order right. My coffee came quickly followed by the breakfast. The service was quick and the food and coffee were average but nothing to write home about.

We have visited twice so far while staying in the Taree area. First time was for coffee where the proprietress was really friendly and chatty. The 2nd visit was for lunch where we had delicious hamburgers. The staff were friendly and the cafe filled up quickly. The wait was quite a while even though we were the only customers when ordering but it was worth it.Thank-you for popping in again & we are glad you enjoyed your burgers & coffee. Passing through for breakfast on a road trip. Service was good. Coffee was quite good, however, meals were very average and therefore quite overpriced for the quality that was served.
