The staff here are so friendly and helpful and were simply the highlight of the visit. The other highlight was the delicious homemade milkshakes that were so creamy and full of flavour. The pancakes were nice but not incredible and they offer a good selection of sandwiches and bagels. Overall a very reasonably priced, pleasant visit but don't expect stellar food. It is however, a perfect place to sit outside with a milkshake and watch the world pass by.

We usually go further into the town for our coffee but on a nice day this place is hard to beat. Great location on the river bank with lovely views of the river, bridge and associated activities. Plenty to see. Friendly staff who bring your order to your table. Reasonable prices and a good selection of cakes and snacks. Great place to relax and watch the world go by.Dear MikeReally pleased that you decided to give us a try. We tend to agree with you about location but then again we are very biased. We love where we live and work and only too happy that customers appreciate it as much as we do. Very lucky with our young staff who work so hard for us, at the same time staying polite and happy. They are a credit to their generation. Please make yourself known to me when you are next in so I can say thank you for the review in person.

We stopped in for a late lunch. Business was brisk but service was efficient and friendly. The sandwiches were very good. I recommend the Cotswolds ham and the brie and onion chutney ob granary bread. Decided to stay and split a cream tea for dessert. The scone was fair and the jam and cream were good.

Also listed at it's just a cafe but too good not to list, wonderful homemade cakes like fruit scones, great tea, modern coffees, glowing review pending. The miscellany of china crockery is an attraction in itself.
We arrived in Stratford around lunchtime, checked in to our hotel then headed out for a spot of lunch and stumbled upon this little gem. Itâs rare I eat somewhere without checking tripadvisor first but we walked by and then followed the signs inFirstly the food was yum, just a sandwich and coffee and a cream tea. The sandwich was served with a lovely fresh salad and the scones were warm with a really generous serving of toppings. Delicious Secondly the surroundings were great, so many interesting antiques - lots of titanic themed items and some local memorabilia. It was also immaculately clean Thirdly the service was great. Attentive but nowhere near overbearing, helped us with queries around where to go in Stratford and served us with a very friendly manner Would absolutely recommend popping in if you are passing

What a great little place this is,extremely clean and actually a bit bigger inside than it looks,we had tea for two a toasted tea cake and a sausage bap, well cooked and very tasty indeed, the tea was excellent, the staff were all very nice and pleasant.also very helpful indeed. The toilets up the yard were very well kept and very clean,I always judge a venue with the state of the toilets,if they can look after them, then they'll look after the rest and the food as well, deffinately a place to visit,I'll deffinately be back.Plenty of character, upstairs as well as two rooms downstairs.

Stopped for a coffee. Fortunately I wasn't in a rush as, having noticed the sign that said they had table service, I sat down outside and waited. After a few minutes I wandered back inside and looked around. No staff were in evidence, so I sat down again outside. When I spotted someone through the window serving some people inside (who arrived some time after me) I popped in again and checked they did table service outside. This question seemed to be met with surprise, but they confirmed they did. A couple of minutes later she came out to take my order, and quickly came back with the coffee. (Total wait just over 15 mins) The coffee was very nice though, and it was a lovely day to sit outside. Good location too.

Came here for breakfast on first morning of my visit to Stratford on the basis on reviews here. I was surprised to find it so quiet, despite being only a minute away from the Birthplace. The coffee was excellent and I had the ciabatta filled with my choice of egg, sausage and bacon. the ingredients were all very tasty and it was all cooked well. Service was friendly and I could see why it is number 1 for breakfast in Stratford.
