We always try and call here when in Stamford - far nicer than one of the ubiquitous national cafe chains. The coffees were good and we shared a very tasty cheese toastie which was accompanied by a nice small salad for each of us. I really enjoyed my meringue and cream with peaches.Perhaps it is a throwback in time/from a bygone era as indeed is Sinclairs, the small department store on the two floors below. But that is a real plus in my view and there is nothing wrong with nostalgia. It will always be our first choice for a snack/coffee in Stamford.

This is a tea rooms rather than a restaurant, but it is really nice and I want to write a review.
Very clean and well run local cafe, with sensible menu at fair prices ideal for a quick snack always a pleasant welcome from all the staff, well worth a visit.

Other foods are available...all have been lovely...thatâs why we keep coming back ! I get fed up of places doing a breakfast up to certain times, it drives me mad when you find out you have just missed it and they are doing âlunchtime menu â from now. I see a cooked breakfast as brunch and refuse to go to places with such attitudes. Hence why I love Goochâs all day breakfast...served with local proper sausages! Support them and get the message out there !

Visited this pub quite a while ago before I came to Stamford to live. Since moving here over 8 years ago I have been a few times with mates and family. I also go to their Beer festival and love the choices of beer. This pub is rather small but has a front beer garden which always has plenty of people. The service is as you would expect and its a well kept pub with their beers well looked after. This is what you would call a little gem and a must visit if your in Stamford anytime.

We were looking for somewhere off the A1 to meet family travelling from the North. What a delightful place. A pretty garden centre with lovely staff. The cafe has inside and outside tables with dog friendly tables available. I had read a previous review about the food not being anything special. We were surprised by the interesting menu and how well presented the food was. The cafe uses Hambleton bread, baked by an Artisan bakery which we used when we lived in Rutland. There is plenty of choice and, despite being busy, the staff were attentive and the service was good. The garden centre itself is imaginative, well laid out, quirky and certainly worth another visit!

A traditional Italian Deli happy to be serving Stamford authentic Italian coffee and a mouth-watering range of Italian delicacies.
Wonderful coffee, great food, fair prices just let down by what I can only describe as odd customer service. Not giving up on this place, as it could be the best in Stamford, but maybe try smiling every now and then.Thank you for your feedback and your support, we promise to try and smile more! I think sometimes we are concentrating on what we are doing that we might forget...

Independent, Family run coffee shop. Serving great quality breakfast, coffee, cakes and ice cream
Called on way further north to quick tasty lunch. If you like fresh ingredients cooked fresh and served hot with a smile this is the place. We ordered hot French bread toast, crushed avocado, two rashers bacon, two poached eggs and hollandaise sauce and poached eggs on toasted bagels topped with crispy bacon. Both really tasty and served with smile. We sat for ages, caught up with emails on their WiFi and were not hurried at all. Thank you all.

Popped in here for lunch on a busy Tuesday. Queues for tables! The menu is filled with a wide choice of mouth-watering options including daily specials. Breakfast options look very good and served until noon.Everything is presented very nicely with copious amounts of fresh leaf salad. The ingredients taste fresh and things are well cooked. We'll worth a visit.

Enjoy a great selection of freshly prepared dishes daily from 8.30am until 4.30pm. We pride ourselves on great service in a spacious, clean & friendly environment in the centre of Stamford Lincolnshire.
We recently visited for afternoon tea and paid £15 a head. We were all disappointed with the 2 x finger sandwiches and half a pork pie each, crumbly and hard scones and pretty tasteless cakes. The restaurant looked very nice and had good reviews however I would not book afternoon tea again.
