Great little coffee/tea shop with lovely warm cream teas. Did great milkshakes for the kids. All of the cakes are home made. Would highly recommend a visit. What a lovely review of our cream teas! Thank you so much! We really appreciate it. It took me 4 months to get the scones as perfect as I could. I'm so pleased you enjoyed them and recommend us so highly.Hope to see you again soon.Suzy and The Tea House Team

Hi from sunny Cornwall! We source as much of the food & drink locally as possible and we cook simple but well prepared food. Local fresh fish,home-made pizzas, burgers and daily specials. We also have fresh cakes, Cornish cheeses, meats and Cornish smoked
We called here for a very late lunch. The sandwiches were very tasty just the little extras that make all the difference and there was a good choice on the menu. Service was very prompt and they were very helpful

Woods Cafe is a beautiful cottage cafe in the middle of Cardinham Woods. Open all year round, we serve warming home-made stews and soups in the winter and doorstop sandwiches with an ever changing specials menu throughout the summer. The cream teas are fa
The setting of Woods Cafe in Cardinham Woods is idyllic and the quality of the food and service was outstanding. I had a ploughmanâs lunch which was beautifully plated. The cheeses were excellent, the bread very fresh, and the salad and homemade pickles were outstanding. My wife had a slow cooked steak sandwich (it may be called something different on the menu!) which by all accounts was delicious. Orders are placed inside, with customers giving their table numbers. This makes for an efficient and easy ordering process. My Lavazza coffee arrived promptly, and as food is freshly prepared for each order the meal took a little longer. I was very surprised when one of the staff came to apologise for the âlength of timeâ that it had taken to bring my meal and offered a complimentary refill - I hadnât felt that the service had been slow at all and consequently didnât feel justified in taking advantage of the offer! Well done Woods Café - from two very satisfied South African guests!

Cafe in Wadebridge doing coffee tea milkshakes smoothies teacakes cream teas cakes and food on the platt next to spar shop
Just been this afternoon (26.07.2019). With it being the last full day of our holiday, we decided it would be the perfect time to go out and look for a place to try our very first CORNISH CREAM TEA and we are so glad we decided to choose and come to this lovely, quaint place. The cafe is beautifully decorated and it really does make you feel like you have entered Alice in Wonderland's Mad Hatter's party place. I'm more a coffee person than a tea person but was so glad I stuck to having tea with my Cornish Cream Tea as it went down grandly with everything. The scones were served warm and it was just so light, fluffy and absolutely delicious with the jam ("it's JAM first in Cornwall!") and clotted cream. It was heaven on a plate! The owner (we assume she was the owner) and her staff were so friendly, warm and welcoming. Loved every second we were there. You need to visit this place when in Wadebridge. My husband was eyeing the Victoria Sponge Cake. I think he'd have ordered a slice if he still had some space in his tummy for it as it looked divine, too. Would come back if ever we are in the area again. Thank you.

Old Chapel converted into small cafe plus lots of items for sale such as handbags, clothes, vases, lamps, jewellery to name but a few. Tables quite cramped together on only half of the ground floor as other half plus all the upstairs were goods to buy. Did note a vase at £500! We waited rather a long time to be served before we were noticed but the servers were very friendly. We were going to have lunch, but found it very overpriced I.e. jacket potato with prawns £10! Soup £6.50.We settled for coffee and shortbread...the shortbread was ok but quite thick and soft...am sure I detected a hint of lemon in it which I am not keen on.Dogs are allowed in, but if each table had a dog then it would be even more cramped.Disappointing overall, for us.

Hidden gem in lovely camelford community, cornish tea room with tea garden and proudly making our own cakes, scones and other sweet treats, great quality coffee and all of our food is cooked freshly to order, all day breakfasts, paninis, milkshakes, cornish cr
This cafe could be a gold mine! There are two entrances, one said open, the other said closed and thatâs only half the confusion! Two sandwiches, one requested on white, the other on brown. Delivered the wrong way around on standard packet loaf bread. One of which was cheese and pickle which should have been advertised as pickle with a sprinkle of cheese. Panini acceptable and better value than the sandwiches, donât expect a happy service or a salad on the side!

Here at Hilltop we have a Farm Shop & Restaurant set in a garden area with pretty views of the Cornish Countryside. Parking, toilet facilities, disabled access, Wi-fi and an undercover outside seating area to make your visit even more relaxing.
We always go to Hilltop for lunch when we holiday in Cornwall each year. They used to be very welcoming to dogs and the menu was excellent. This time we were told that dogs aren't welcome anymore and told we could sit at a wooden picnic table in a marque outside (its basically in the car park!). We declined. If you're looking for a lovely dog friendly cafe then I can recommend "Four Seasons Cafe" in nearby Camelford who welcome dogs (the foods great too!)You obviously donât come to hilltop every year as we havenât allowed dogs inside for nearly 3 years. We have a open kitchen here at Hilltop and for that reason we cannot allow dogs inside. We have however got an extremely nice outside seating area on a raised deck that has a very nice marquee out of the wind and rain. You cannot comment on our menu or food as you never stayed long enough to look at it or try it.We have a very regular clientele that come to hilltop with their dogs and sit and eat quite happily and even buy our doggy ice creams for their pooches to enjoy.Iâm guessing you are the couple that stood in the middle of my shop and argued with my daughter about coming in with your dog, quite frankly customers like yourself we do not need at our friendly establishment anyway.

Garden Centre and Café specialising in Cornish plants and using locally sourced produce.
We stopped for a coffee break here and the quality of the cakes was FAB! Really delicious and fresh home made selection. We had a fruit scone and chocolate and orange cake, which was divine! There are also hot snacks available made from locally sourced products, and a good selection of hot and cold drinks. There is a nice ambience here as we were able to sit for our coffee in the small garden centre and enjoy the plants. Our dog was also made very welcome, as well as ourselves. We'll definitely be back!

Visited here this morning after landing from Manchester. Big warm friendly greeting from Kevin (I might have the name wrong) who is such a welcoming bloke, also very entertaining all the way through breakfast. It's a well known fact that fisherman can spin a yarn, well as a Cornish man you're never far from the sea, and with a history of ex navy then you've got a good chance of being an expert on yarns. Kevin has got the art of story telling down too a T. Worth just dropping in for a coffee and chat with Kevin to hear how proud he is of his and his family achievements, such a genuine bloke. But don't just get a coffee, get something to eat as well. I had a small breakfast and it was ever so tasty, plus a decent cup of coffee these set me up for the day. If you want to chop and change anything on the breakfast then that wasn't too much trouble either. You can eat outside or in, but note it is a roadside cafe and there is passing traffic. It doesn't look like your standard roadside cafe, it's been prettier up a bit. You can also take away if you want. If you fancy some decent grub and enjoy some friendly local banter, this is your place to go.

Beautiful cafe in the centre of St.Teath. Serving coffees, cakes and light lunches
We have been there for a late breakfast. Seems to be the villageâs meeting point with a lot of women dropping in for a talk. In the open kitchen the ladies who run the cafe are preparing fresh pies, chilies and cakes. Everything homemade and freshly prepared. Sad that vacation is almost over and we canât come back. Would love to have such a cafe in out hometown.
