Good home cooked comfort foods pot roast , hamburger steak , chicken , etc . No processed food all fresh . Quick and friendly service reasonable prices recommended. East Shore Cafe is our go to breakfast place. We eat here twice a month with my family. Sunday after church is really busy. We usually get there about 9:15 to beat the rush. This is a small older house that has been converted to a restaurant. They have seating inside and outside. It is a little tight with the seating, and can get a little loud when they are busy. But the food is worth it!!! The owners and staff are amazing! I get the same thing every time (Cottage sandwich with bacon and 1/2 cup of coffee), and the staff remembers. Their Cottage Sandwich is the BEST breakfast sandwich around! My husband gets an omelet every time. Our children love the Stuffed French Toast. The flavor changes. They have a wonderful lunch also. I LOVE the Honey Chicken Salad on a croissant. Give their homemade cookies a chance. They have chocolate chips, coconut, and macadamia nuts in them. So yummy!!! They also have the BEST flavor of tea.

This was my first time to visit Sugar Kettle. The experience was very positive. Decor was very nice. Food and service were both outstanding. I should mention that the oversized coffee mugs are perfect for early morning coffee hounds. Although a little dry and overcooked, the sausage breakfast casserole was great. Cheese grits and biscuits were great as well, being two of the items that separate mediocre from superior breakfast places. While it's hard to mess up eggs and bacon, I still give this place credit for serving it so well. For friendly service and great breakfast in a nice clean setting, this is a must visit in Daphne for me.
