My wife and friend had been here before but this was a first for me. It was like stepping back in time. Simple plain food and six different fresh vegetables served with each meal. Service was a bit slow but we were informed that the cook was having difficulties with the chip fryer. Very reasonable prices.

Called in again, as we usually do when visiting Southwold. Nothing has changed, food as good as ever, fresh, cooked to order and plentiful. First class vegetarian breakfast as usual, made even better by the surrounding area which is different to the usual one would expect in Southwold. Owner and family really friendly to. Well worth a punt if your out and about on your travels, as it sets you up nicely for a nice long walk to Walberswick.

From âwhat dâya want?â to âyouâll have to tell me what the pastry is called I canât see itâ(Couldnât read it myself as not wearing reading glasses) made to feel I was just a nuisance. Training on how to be civil and a better counter layout could improve things.Pastries were delicious.Thank you for your feedback, I'm sorry that you didn't receive the service that you deserved whilst you where in store last. I have spoken to all of the team and reiterated the importance of customer service and I hope that when your in Southwold that you try us again if you do decide to pop in please ask for me and you can have a coffee on us. I am glad you enjoyed the pastries though. Thanks Matt

A lovely dog friendly café with comfy seats. Relax with a cup of tea or a fruity milkshake and watch some of the visitors enjoy a game of putt

The staff were nice but really! £7 for one scone, shop bought jam and a little whipped cream! It was a disappointment. It's not horrible just in par with a supermarket cream tea. Also the earl grey was the cheap supermarket type too.

A cafe bistro serving fresh, home cooked, locally sourced meals from breakfast, lunch, tea & coffees & homemade cakes - all made on the premises by us.
This is my favourite cooked breakfast in Suffolk (...and we have tried many!). Called in for breakfast and had the full English. The bacon and sausage was delicious, eggs cooked to my taste as requested and the mushrooms were divine. Try the outdoor terrace on a sunny day - very relaxing and a little oasis of calm. The coffee is very good quality and coffee lovers will be super happy. You will not be disappointed if you have breakfast/brunch here.

Prandium of Southwold provide a very diverse menu. Recently awarded a TripAdvisor certificate of excellence 2019 and being chosen 3rd best restaurant, in Suffolk, by Suffolk business, I feel that two years hard work is starting to pay off. When you visit
A great place that we always visit whenever we go to Southwold (usually twice a year). The food is always good quality and thereâs plenty of it, so go hungry! James is an amusing and attentive host, and this gives Prandium the edge over a lot of the other places in this town. We are really sorry he is moving on, and we will miss visiting this great little place the next time we go. All the best James, hope our paths cross again one day!Like you I'm also sorry to be leaving. Unfortunately landlords have become very greedy, which results in customers taking the Mick. Like the ones who've left the review after yours. Anyway, back to your review. Thanks for visiting again and taking time to leave lovely comments.I will keep everyone informed as to where I'm moving to.Best wishesJames
