Cosy mix of an outdoor cafe with a Bornholm twist, and a vintage interior store. One of the most cosy places in all of Bornholm. At Fru Due we offer delicious food pancakes baked on buckwheat flour and filled with carefully selected ingredients as well as
Ate here for lunch with my 7 year old and parents. Lovely couple running this place which serves home made savoury pancakes with amazing filings. Great atmosphere sitting outside . The food is inventive and tasty, and they helpfully adapted a dish to better suit a child. Might be good to have a pancake for children in the future, but thats a minor point. wonderful addition to Snogebækâs cafe/restaurant selection
Boisen Is have for many years sold homemade icecreams of fine quality. They still do, but competition is large on Bornholm these days and in my opinion they are loosing out. They do make some really excellent fruit sorbet ice (incl rhubarb, gooseberry, blackcurrent), but they fall short on the classic tastes like vanilla, chocolate, hazelnut/nougat. They simply lack in taste. However, must critical is the price volume. I think this is likely to be the most expensive icecream on Bornholm. Still if you come to Snogebæk, try it and compare it to some of the other homemade icecream shops on the island.
We stumbled upon this place just by coincidence. We were searching for a coffee and reached this cafe because this was the only one that was open. And we loved the experience. Simple small cosy cafe with lovely ladies running the show. The cafe is cosy and offers small tables inside or outside (by the old harbour) where one can sit and relax. We had two vegetarian sandwiches with juices. Both juices were amazing and so were the sandwiches. Can recommend for you to visit if you are around Nexo and looking for a bite in a relaxing corner.

I've been here more times, as I live on Bornholm and like to bring friends/guests here. The place is owned by a couple - she's in the kitchen and he's waiting most days. Always a quick and humorous comment - nice and empathetic way and of course well-made food. As you may have seen (here on this page) they are famous for the giant "tartelet" which is a baked cup of bread (very crisp kind) with a stew of chicken and asparagus known as a traditional Danish dish, that usually comes in much smaller variations - cup-size, whereas this one is 4-5 times as big. That is one problem more people may experience - it's a bit too much food, actually, but the size itself make a lot of people come here just to try.I want to point to the rest of the menu which is also worth a taste. They have a handful of good quality Danish lunch-dishes as well as open-faced sandwiches that are as good as the famous "Tartelet".Once I had a VERY good layer cake with rhubarb and whipped cream - if that's on the menu, you should definitely go for that! Even you may think that you already had enough! You do not want to leave without - so at least you can share a piece with your friends or family.I will be back. Again and again...
