Reviews on Cafe food in Skagen, Jutland, Denmark. A large, busy harbor doesn’t dampen the charm of Skagen’s older neighborhoods, which offer distinctive yellow houses, great museums, ceramic and glass art galleries, and bike rental outlets. Harbourside restaurants serve fish fresh off the boats. If you’re used to Caribbean beaches, this will take some getting used to, but we bet Skagen’s craggy charms will win you over.

We visited here today as a cruise passenger, and felt compelled to write a review as I was so disgusted with the experience. Upon ordering, there was some confusion regarding the order because of the English/Danish language barrier! However instead of being polite and understanding, the blonde woman that served us was incredibly rude towards us, and was getting very impatient! We asked for a waffle with ice cream, and she kept trying to make us a soft scoop ice cream in cornet! If we hadnât have already paid we would have left! When eating our mediocre waffle, I discovered a lovely LONG BLONDE HAIR! It was in my mouth, and it felt like I was pulling it out forever! This place needs polite staff, and some bloody hair nets! AVOID AVOID AVOID!
El Toro is a steakhouse serving superb, high quality steaks as well as a lot of other delicious Argentinian and Mexican dishes. We use quality meat from South America, mainly Argentina and Uruguay. The meat is grilled on a lava grill. Our goal is to serve

We overheard in a shop that this was one of the two best bakeries in town (one by the museum, one by the church; this is the one by the church). I could not tell you the name of the pastry I chose, but it was divine! Be prepared to wait in line at the counter (especially if there's a cruise ship in port), choose a pastry and a coffee, pay and hope there's a table. Atmosphere is not exactly tranquil, but the pastries are absolutely delicious!
Eine kleine Eisdiele, die mehrere Sorten Eis in der Auslage hat. Wir bestellten uns ein Eis mit je zwei Kugeln. Das Eis war lecker, guter Durschnitt, sticht aber nicht besonders hervor.

Homestyle cooking with organic produce. Anchers cafe is located in the historic Saxilds Gaard cottage next to the museum Anchers Hus. During the summer the cafe serves Danish omelette made from organic produce, homemade cakes and pastries, organic icecrea
The museum café of Anchers Hus, called âSaxilds Kaffestueâ, is not located in the home of Michael and Anna Ancher itself but in Saxilds Gaard, an appealing yellow cottage that used to house a bakery. The cottage is surrounded by a pleasant garden. It was a pleasure to have coffee and cake in the vintage 1900s interior and have a chat with the lovely lady operating the café. The café, doubling as a shop, is accessible without museum ticket. It is open from April to September.Thank you for your visit to the café. This year the name of the café actually changed from Saxilds Kaffestue to Anchers café. Onve again thank you for visiting.

American Fast food restaurant. Burgers, Steaks, Fish & Deep pan pizza. Selection of lunch dishes. Nice courtyard
They claim to have the best burger in town. This is not true. The burger was dry and tasteless, and reminds of fast food. Or actually, you will get better burgers at McDonald's. Stay away. Sorry to hear that... This is not what try to keep up with.

Café serving delightful lunch plates and tasteful drinks at the most beautiful setting by the sea and in the shadow of a historical lighthouse.
We were pleasantly surprised by the food here as it sounded rather dull. But what was described as a cheese sandwich was spectacular! Very beautifully arranged with salad and various vegetables. I had the herring plate which was just as pretty and very tasty. The service was delightful. A real find.

The museum café Brøndums Havehus is located in the museum garden behind Skagens Museum. The building was the first home of the artist couple Anna and Michael Ancher. The café is run by Brøndums Hotel and offers a selection of homemade pastries and light d
A brilliant cafe now in a larger building and all set in a lovely garden. The only disadvantage that I can see is that you have to pay 90 kroner to go into the museum first, which I think is far too high for such a small place.

I was there for just cocktails and they all tasted good! A lady staff was a bit cold and absentminded l, but then I saw her there again next morning early. I guess it means she is working too hard and too long! Itâs a place I would like to try more variety of food next visit!

We had a delicious taster menu in this beautiful restaurant. The dishes were skillfully presented and had a wonderful blend of flavours. The portions were more substantial than for any other taster menu we've had back home! The waiting staff are attentive (not obtrusive) and very friendly (brilliant command of English - I'm ashamed!) I would highly recommend this restaurant (and Skagen is beautiful!)
