Our tour group was visiting the nearby ski resort and came by here for our lunch. It was around 1.15pm when we arrived. The cafe is located within the Norges Post Museum, with a book cum souvenir store at the side. The cafe was bright and spacious and could accommodate large number of diners.Upon arrival, we were ushered to our tables and within a short while, our 3-course lunch were served. We had a beef pie with potato and some vegetable puree (the beef was very salty though cooked suitably with the puree was bland). Eating this together with the nice bread (with the soup of the day) was a good combination. The dessert was chocolate mousse with vanilla cream, it was nice and yummy, though a bit too sweet. The chocolate was flavourful and rich in taste!Coffee and tea were also served. Coffee was fine but I think the tea was better with a nice fragrance.Staff were friendly and efficient in serving and clearing used plates.Generally, would say it was a satisfactory lunch.

We had reserved for dinner with over 40 people. But we reached hours late. But they are very flexible, especially for Norwegian standard. Also unusual the usual fish, mostly tasteless and expensive in Norwegian Restaurants was quite economical and had great taste with a special gravy. The girls were attending quick and with a very friendly and personal attitude. OK, as in most Norwegian Restaurants. No desert available. Not even the local cookies. There was even time for a stroll through the pedestrian area with lively pups in two minutes walking distance

Oliven is a great place for a coffee or lunch. Both the salad and their olive bread was freshly produced and very tasty. The staff was very service minded. A bit pricy, but again the quality of the food was fresh.

The place was very nice and made you feel as if you were at home from the start. The smell when you walk in is great and then all the chocolates on display. Very good food and the service was fantastic.
Her er der så godt at komme vinter efter vinter. Efter en lang god tur på langrendsski er det dejligt at få sig noget varmt og pandekage med flødeskum og syltetøj.

Lovely cafe, with delicious foods. English menu available. Comfortable seating indoors & outdoors. Coffee excellent, but cappuccino cups way too small. Should be twice the size. Charge more if needed. Foods are delightful and large portions. Great for breakfast or lunch. Do not think they are open for dinner. Wonderful pastries and very healthy meals. Lovely & Friendly staff. Thank you.

Simply superb setting with great service, we enjoyed sitting outside with the late afternoon/early evening sun warming us and bathing the wonderful park in a golden yellowOne of the best toast Skagen sandwiches I ever had (very generous portion and great presentation), the bread was firm and crispy (at first I was disappointed it was not dark bread like in Denmark but after tasting it I was actually happier), the shrimp tasty and the well spiced, just perfectThe baked salmon was overcooked but sooo tasty and yet again the presentation was perfect. And very reasonable prices, the combination together with helpful staff made this a truly memorable evening, I highly recommend coming here if the weather is good for a great meal.
What do you need after a few hours in the fresh mountain air in summer, autumn or winter? You can sense the delicious smell from a distance - and it is not French fries. Cinnamon is in the air! The Café at Nordseter Fjellpark Service Centre is the natural
Good place to stop off on a long ski. Make your own drinks, cosy log fire, friendly staff. Bakery, shop and ski rental. Good place to meet up or wait.
