Nach langer Zeit haben wir nochmal in cafe kupp reserviert zum Reibekuchen essen.Wir waren um 18 Uhr dort und es war schon sehr gut besucht. Der Service hat relativ schnell die Getränke wünsche aufgenommen.Doch dann würde es schleppend. Die bestellten Reibekuchen kamen fast einer Stunde nach Bestellung Die vorherigen Gäste bekamen erst ihre nachbestellen Reibekuchen.Besteck und servierten erhielten wir erst auf Nachfrage. Dann waren die Reibekuchen rein optisch auch nicht ansprechend (grau ) die kartoffelmasse hat also lange gestanden dann verfärben sich diese.Geschmacklich waren wir auch enttäuscht fettig und nicht heiss Service reagiert nur auf heftiges gestikulierenSchade nicht nochmal

Unfortunately we stopped by Haus Seeblick in the middle of the afternoon, on our way from Heimbach to Monschau, so the kitchen was closed and we could only order drinks and cake, but the pastry was super; a 5 point rating and the sit-down on the balcony with the distant view on the Rursee was magnificent. The restaurant inside oozed hospitality and the service was impeccable. We will definitively have lunch or dinner at Haus Seeblick when again in the vicinity. It only calls for a better planning.

While in Monschau a friend and I stopped at Scloss Kaffee for lunch and enjoyed an afternoon snack and a beer. The location is ideal for people watching and the beer was ice cold!

The bakery-cafe is located at the Market Square and also has a small outdoor seating area in front of the cafe.We went there for breakfast (self-service), but the place is also good for a (small) lunch or 'Kaffee mit Kuchen' (coffee and cake).Prices are very reasonable, the value for money is good.Recommendable.

Monschau is an extremely pretty and historic town in Germany but so close to the Belgian border that Vodafone thought I was in Belgium! It is always full of tourists, and parking in the summer must be a nightmare. On a fine Sunday afternoon in March it wasn't easy. There are lots of eating places, but this one is very central and easy to spot. We only had half an hour so it had to be a quick coffee and cake, and the cake I chose was very nice. Unfortunately there wasn't time for the apple strudel, but I would go to Cafe Reichard in Cologne for that anyway. It was a good place though.

eventjes opwarmen na een wandeling door het winterzonnetje - oorspronkelijk wilden we enkel voor een koffie gaan - maar toen we veggie flammenkuchen op de kaart zagen staan waren we verkocht - leuke zaak - wel druk - ondanks laagseizoen - maar alles was naar wens

We stopped here for coffee and cake. Great selection of cakes at a reasonable price. They have a lovely view over the lake.
