Having arrived early in Nowra after a long commute I searched Trip Advisor for a breakfast spot. The Cake Place looked interesting so I went there on the recommendations. What a found was a trendy little cafe serving vegetarian and conventional breakfasts. Service was friendly and the range of choice for breakfast was great. I selected the corn fritters and it was a big meal. I loved the spicy chorizo sausage with the avocado served alongside the corn fritters. The tomato relish was also delicious.

Gorgeous little spot with friendly service and great coffee. Nice selection of cakes and a lovely lunch menu. We secured a nice little spot in the sun for coffee and a chat. My favourite part about this cafe is simple. They do not offer straws unless requested. While most cafes are switching to paper straws, this cafe is eliminating them! Impressive.

Wow, what am amazing cafe / restaurant!The place was really busy when we visited for breakfast. They found us a table, explained there may be a wait of 15 minutes for food and drink. And it came out really quickly. It's was delicious!We loved the vibe, the staff and the food / drink so much we went back for lunch then again the next morning for breakfast. Highlight if our weekend away in Berry.CheersThanks so much for taking the time to leave us a lovely review Paul! Our second visit to the Milk Hous. Was looking foward to something a bit different to tempt the brunch taste buds. We both chose the crispy zucchini pancake with fried egg, mango and asian salad. Pancake turned out not so crispy, just downright soggy with very little flavour and a fried egg on top. Asian salad was a bunch of greens, red cabbage and dressing, with three small cubes of unripe mango on the side. Milk hous you certainly didn't deliver this time. Wasn't worth the money nor the hour journey to get there.

It's always busy, but can't say I'm impressed. Bit of a wait for food so you would expect it to be hot when it's put down in front of you. Nope, lukewarm at best. And if you're sitting at a table chatting to friends and your coffee cup is empty and the food is gone, out comes the reserved sign on the table. Nothing like a less than subtle hint - if you're not buying anything more, then move on. Won't rush back.

No reservation but recommended you do as is a great place and always full, Oysters to die for from Pambula cooked to perfection. The market fish fantastic and service great. Stamp a path to this place but make a reservation to ensure a cosy experience near the fire.Highly recommended

Briefly I had this place to myself. I ordered a pot of tea, scone and jam and cream. Bought a few gifts too. Quickly the other tables filled up with other tea drinkers. A lovely ambience.

Visited The Bakery for breakfast on Saturday and Lunch on Sunday. Excellent. Staff were so friendly and lovely. Breakfast menu was varied and delicious and best coffee in Berry! Capsicum soup for lunch on a chilly day perfect matched with a local red. Our favourite cafe in Berry!

This is just a review for the poor service from the âhangryâ middle aged waitress. We arrived with people ordering from the counter so we walked through to sit down assuming that was the normal protocol given a number of spare tables and were stopped by the waitress while she decided to seat others before us even though we were there first. Then I went to use the bathroom and realized there was no paper so requested from the same waitress at which point she asked do you know what hangry is as she is apparently hungry and angry. If this is the case deal with that rather than serving customers. Poor service and unfortunate very limited food options which didnât suit my husband given food allergies so we decided to leave at which point the same waitress started being aggressive towards us for trying to leave. Seriously get out of customer service roles as you are giving the place poor ratings.
