Called in for lunch one Saturday. Sat down at a table as there were no instructions as to what to do or how to place an order. Two different staff walked past us three times, no one gave us a menu or directed us to order at the counter. No one said "sorry, we're busy, we'll be with you in a minute" in fact we were completely ignord so walked out after ten minutes. Extremely poor customer service.

Great food, baked potatoes are wonderful for a light meal but also main courses on offer as specials look goo. Cooked breakfast is marvellous.wonderful staff and owners. Best scones in the Cotswolds. Very dog friendly. Not cheap but good value. If you want to eat get there before 4.

Called in for breakfast and please we did. Both wife and I had the Pantry Breakfast, a full English plus, which came freshly cooked with local ingredients and it was excellent. Could of had a fair choose from the breakfast menu. Lunch menu commences midday and we will certainly return to try, although the Sunday Roast menu is on the list of must try. Friendly service, very clean interior and nice sun garden. Interesting shop and wine selection, glasses or bottles can be enjoyed with your breakfast or lunch. Set within a converted post office this charming cafe-come-restaurant is certainly worth a visit, or two.It was lovely to meet you yesterday and thank you for sharing you enjoyable experience with others. Sit on benches under a sun roof, on the grass, or inside the restaurant, order at the counter, and the food is brought to you. Relaxed atmosphere, dogs, children, informal, great food, mostly from local farms, prepared by friendly staff interested in your requests -- gluten free, vegan. It's worth visiting this hidden-away food provider.
The service was amazing from beginning to end. Lovely smiley team that couldn't do enough for me. Once they heard it was my birthday they even painted 'Happy Birthday' in chocolate on my cake plate. Excellent Cheese Ploughmans and delicious prosecco to boot. A great little find in a very pretty town with some amazing shops - well worth a visit.Hello Sharron,Thank you so much for your review, we hope to see you again soon! Kind regardsThe Three Ewes cafe

Met a couple of mates for breakfast and was surprised that there were no vegetarian options. The owner came over and categorically stated that it's not worth their while catering for vegetarians as 'everybody eats meat around these parts!' despite me countering that vegetarians and vegans are hugely increasing in number. So the fact that they advertise themselves as vegetarian friendly is contrary to what they actually believe and do. So I opted for the Full English minus the bacon, sausages, black pudding etc, which didn't leave much on the plate, although they did offer some tomatoes. The food was fine, coffee was fine. No issues there. However when I came to pay there was no reduction on the £7.50 for the standard Full English, even though I had saved them several pounds on the meat items. They could have offered me a free coffee or a credit for next time? In my mind this is poor customer service and why I have given 1 star.I won't go back until they offer vegetarian options, of which there are plenty of great ones. Just needs an imagination! Will go back to my regular haunt, El Cafe.

Living locally, we've only ever had coffee in El Cafe, but having looked at the menu invited our neighbours to join us for the Thursday Paella deal experience. What a lovely evening we had. The food was beautiful, hot and well presented, and the desserts a real treat. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout, and our waitress was a very pleasant and friendly young lady. Thank you to everyone. We are lucky to have this establishment in Shipston and we'll definitely be back.Hola CravengardenThank you so much for the lovely review and it has been passed on to the Team and specially your waitress, she is so happy. We are all so proud that you and your neighbours had a great time here and that you enjoyed your evening with us.We look forward to seeing you again soon.GraciasThe El Café Team
