Visit here for fresh food served in a hometown atmosphere. Other reviewers said it was pricey - I disagree. Fresh ingredients cost more, driving up the menu prices, however the cost is not unreasonable. I'd rather pay the difference for the better quality. If I want processed foods I'll visit a chain. The service is wonderful; you are truly treated like a guest, and not another customer in line. Thanks ladies, you're the best!

We each had the burger sliders for lunch. Wife opted for their onion straws, and I had their fries on the side. Everything was excellent. The place was clean, waitress friendly, and prices very reasonable.Wife got a piece of Hillbilly cake to go.Recommended; We'll be back.

Went out to the Runway Cafe at the Sebring Airport and it was a wonderful experience. Not only were the sandwiches good and reasonably priced, we got a window seat where we saw a series of take offs and landings. I got the Bacon Cheeseburg, she got the BLT - both were quick. The cole slaw was good (if a bit small) and both of us were happy with our sandwiches and how quickly they came out. Watching the planes makes the food taste better! LOL

Formerly Esperante in the former Chateau Elan Hotel. Now Apex at Seven in Seven Sebring Raceway Hotel.
Are you ready to please your taste buds with a juicy proprietary blend of USDA Choice beef for the perfect "gourmet" burger? I enjoyed "The Sebring" burger this past Wednesday afternoon. Apex @ Seven is the race themed lounge at Hotel Seven, named after the world famous Turn 7 "Hairpin" from Sebring 12 Hours fame. There are several specialty burgers to choose from and other hand held selections also. Salads are wonderful but felt like a burger this day.The Sebring includes your fresh, not frozen beef patty with a fried egg as you like it. Bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion of you please. Horse radishh spread gives this juicy delight that special "kick" but not overbearing to the senses. A selection of fries were available and i picked the small size....deliciious. Ask for less salt...I don't add salt as rule. Enjoy and maybe you will get lucky and race cars will be on the track, perfect view from the Apex lounge.Thank you for your kind words, we can't wait to see you again. We pride ourselves in the freshest ingredients and yes burgers are fresh and delicious.James

Nutmeg's offers a unique menu of paninis, sandwiches, salads, soups and sides all utilizing fresh ingredients with a twist. We also have homemade cupcakes, cakeballs and "Working Cow" Ice Cream. We proudly make everything in house and strive to use only th
This was the first time we had visited Nutmegs since they moved. It appears they are trying to grow into their new space. Currently, the chairs they have are quite small and seem more suited to children. There was not much light in the place, save for the windows and it seemed cramped. I had a turkey/cheddar wrap with a spicy mango sauce - the sauce was on the side (by request) and thankfully so as it had a kick. My wife had a medley of sides - which threw the girl for a loop. It appeared disorganized and our order took forever, despite the fact I ordered a special and she had sides - which one would have thought they were prepared for. It's also the same menu as at their old location - so they should be used to knocking it out. Despite the fact they have a bit better food than the average restaurant here, this is pretty much a one and done for us. They also have Working Cow ice cream which is a plus. - but not enough to bring us back. We wish them luck at their new location.,I remember your ticket it came in at the end of a big rush on our third day at our new location. It did take us a while to get to it because we had to do all the tickets ahead of it. So I guess youâre main complaint is that it took too long. Yes when a place opens up this is pretty much to be expected. We are really trying to do our best. Although this is the same menu we are still learning how to work in this space everything is in a different spot. Tickets, communication, everything is a completely different setup from our old place. Itâs funny you would say it is dark because the entire long side of the red is windows, where we only had two small windows previously. The chairs are normal sized and the same ones we had before. We have 45 seats currently the same as our old location. We are planning on expanding into the far room however I donât have the money to renovate that side at this time, which is why the doors have paper up on them until it is done, Hopefully in a month or so. Iâm kind of shocked that you donât like the new space everyone else has raved about it. So yes we are âgrowingâ in to our new space. I hope you will understand that we are just some small town local people who are trying to make a go of it with what we have to work with, and provide the best food we can to highlands county. Also I want you realize that these online reviews really impact my business and my staffâs livelihood and I wish you would reconsider your review after giving us another chance. Please feel free to contact me directly if you wish I would love to discuss further. Megan Mattson

Fairmount Café is a hidden gem in the Fairmount Plaza in Sebring. Only open Monday-Friday from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., the Fairmount Café is serving up a diverse menu which is appealing to all ages. I highly recommend the chicken and grape salad. My son was blown away by the giant portion that was his fish sandwich. He could have easily made an additional two sandwiches out of his one meal. The friendly owners obviously take great pride in their restaurant as it is impeccable. There's not a speck of anything dirty or out of place. Fairmount Café is a quaint, cozy, and relaxing place to grab a tasty bite. Most meals range from $6-$10 so it's affordable for any budget.
