Excellent ice-creams and drinks at this quaint cafe on the riverside path. Cool vibe in the afternoon sunshine!

We ate at the self serve section of the restaurant. The menu included roast chicken, soup, pasta and pizza. We had margarita pizza, schnitzel and grilled chicken. The food was good and the portion was big.We sat outdoor and the view was beautiful. The only downside was that they accept cash payment only.
Seen this from the Ahorn lift and decided to try it as looked attractive setting and away from the roads/ traffic. Ended up visiting a few times for coffees but food and beer etc looked ok .Great to sit outside in the sun, good service .Worth deviating off the main Road for, situated very near to /under the lift just off the car park.

The Cafe Gredler Cafe produces excellent cream cakes- always a favourite of my wife whenever weâre on holiday The cafe is partly inside (together with the shop) and outside (under umbrellas). Quite simply the food and drinks were both excellent at a reasonable price (well we were on holiday) - a good way to start the days walk.

Whilst on holiday in the zillertal you must visit this konditori or in England we say bakery the seating area inside is typical of Austria's quality, the confectionary kuchen or cakes are the best you will taste anywhere the detail in the finished products is a work of art, I am a baker myself and got to know the baker by being nosy and exploring there bakery when I go on holiday I always have to make myself known and congratulate the Austrians on there baking skills, so pop in and try there cakes I promise you you will not be disappointed, from thr train its up the hill next to the church.

The place has a self service zone and a zone where they serve food. I would recommend the last. They have delicious wine pasta which is a must try. Steaks are also great. Not just sausages and fries. The restaurant is located by piste 55 and 48. I would recommend their hot wine too. By the way they have free WiFi.
