Stopped at this place just because all the restaurants on the street looked the same and had the same prices and food and at some point we just decided to go into the next one. We made a great choice!This is a great choice for café-time, but also for eating lunch or dinner or getting a beer. We were there for dinner. They have pretty nice beers and various types of food, mostly traditional Limbourgish and International dishes. I had the Limburgs Zuurvlees, which was excellent and also quite large. The schnitzel is also huge and very tasty, served with vegetables. The prices are mid-range for Valkenburg, about 13-18 euro for a main course.Strongly recommend!

Very friendly welcome (especially as next door restaurant would not even allow us outside with our small dog!), good food and service. We had a local speciality marinated meat as a main, which was excellent and shared a starter and dessert - but left feeling very contented and full. Attached to the campsite but definitely a cut above the average campsite restaurant

My wife and I visited with friends while on a Caravanning touring holiday. The food was excellent and the portions substantial. The service was faultless and the landlord was friendly and spoke English with us. He told us much about the area and was very knowledgeable. Some locals were also present, playing darts, and they too were very welcoming. Prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food, drink and ambience on offer. Would heartily recommend to anyone staying nearby.

About 300 metres from the railroad station is this small but cosy restaurant. Also easy to park your car. Friendly owner who gives adequate suggestions. Good portions of tasteful food. Small but handsome menu. Good wines and beers. Good coffee also. An unexpected surprise in this little village.
