Wir hatten 2 x das groÃe Frühstück im Cafe (9,50 Euro pro Person, im Internet steht 8,50 Euro, sollte mal aktualisiert werden).Die Bedienung ist freundlich und schnell, die Qualität des Frühstücks "ok".Leider 2 Punkte Abzug, da a) im vorderen Bereich geraucht wird und der Rauch in den Nichtraucherbereich zieht. Das Ambiente des Cafe-Bereichs ist leider zudem sehr einfach und lieblos, anstatt angenehmer Hintergrundmusik vernimmt man permanent die laute Lüftung.Und b) stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis einfach nicht, da findet man gemütlichere Lokale z. B. in Passau, die für den gleichen Preis noch zusätzlich Prosecco, Joghurt, Früchte und Lachs anbieten.

2. Land Lebt Auf

Just a couple of minutes detour from the main road (A3/A8) border crossing between Germany and Austria. The Land Lebt Auf offers a combination of restaurant, grocery shop and petrol station. In contrast to the main road where such places are mostly run by big international corporation, this place has the atmosphere of the family business. In fact it is also a part of the chain run by a bigger company supporting the local competence and independence, while maintaining quality standards. The fuel prices are much lower than on the A3/A8. Also the prices in shop are much lower, though still above the average shop level. The restaurant is not very big, I have not tried the food.
