This is a family run cafe/bar, and is very reasonably priced. The toasties are very flavorsome, and the waffles and crepes delicious. Luis does a good range of drinks including a fine selection of gins. Air conditioned in the summer and warm in the winter, which cant be said of a lot of places in Portugal. Nice outside seating area.

This is a great little cafe with yummy cakes but they also do some wonderful birthday cakes. In the cafe there is a folder with all the lovely designs they do. I got a great cake done here for a friend's birthday. It didn't just taste super but it looked lovely too. It was a great price for a great cake!

I visited here with a group of friends for pre dinner cocktails. The service was great and the drinks were just as good. Mojitos served in a jam jar were to die for and at only â¬3 each. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Will defo recommend and certainly be back soon.

It's a shame we discovered this fantastic coffee/cake shop towards the end of our holiday, but maybe our waistlines benefited because every time we went in we bought more than we intended. It was great to eat cakes based on the carobs and wild almonds we'd seen harvested in the orchards and lanes all around this lovely area. One quite spectacular concoction featured candied pumpkin, the 'spaghetti' or angel hair pumpkin - much scrummier than it sounds. You can have a coffee with your cake, and liqueur, again based on local ingredients and made next door. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and love to offer tasters to tempt you.

This café was established in 1952 and has been in business ever since. All the fine pasteries are all made fresh daily along with the homemade icecream in the summer. We also have a full bar and local beer on tap. Our house specialties are the fine pastry

Great location in the city centre square. Nice to sit outside in the shade and watch people go by. Delicious local simple food and very friendly staff.

Stopped with friends following the Garden Faire at the grounds of the nearby Costume Museum. It is a small location with a small garden area (smoking) in the rear. Staff are extremely friendly and visibly enjoy what they are doing. Three of us ordered the same open-faced toasted sandwich of goat cheese, honey, figs and walnuts, which was delicious. Desserts are home-made and also very tasty.
