Reviews on Cafe food in Santa Monica, California, United States. The beaches of Santa Monica attract all sorts of visitors-- don't be surprised to see families playing on the sand next to a boot-camp fitness class with a barking instructor. Visit the Santa Monica Pier, a haven of shops, restaurants, and carnival attractions (including a Ferris wheel) atop a wooden wharf. By night, the Third Street Promenade is the place to be, bustling with activity from moviegoers, party animals, and talented street performers.

Entered there by pure causality and I was surprised by the taste of every dish. The quality and the creativity of the food is supreme. The place is really cool and the service is on point. Would come back if I ever go to Santa Monica.

We're a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means "the daily bread" in French, and like our name suggests, we're bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we ser
This restaurant has great coffee and pastries, on a par with anything I had in Paris (where this restaurant chain started). The salads, omelettes, and waffles are great as well. We ate at this branch in Santa monica and also at the one in Westwood. Both were a delight. Try the mint lemonade!

You could pass this place without knowing it. It is right on the sand and is reached via a carpark adjacent to the Annenburg community which is on the beachside of the pacific coast highway, just west of Santa Monica. It was virtually the only cafe actually standing on the beach and approached on sand. Not common in this part of California!. The food was standard American. My wife loved the huevos rancheros and I enjoyed the french toast! Very friendly staff, a real pleasure to eat there. Nothing between you and the sea except sand. Not to be missed. Not swanky, just very good.

When you can combine soy-rizo with a corn tortilla-based breakfast taco filled with scrambled eggs, avocado, and a cheesy sauce, you canât go wrong. Huge portion - 3 tacos per order. Started off thinking it was breakfast, but realized it would need to be brunch. Not sure when Iâll eat again!

We were staying at the Marriott next door and thought it would be a quick, cute, more local option to have breakfast. Well. The coffee was really terrible : both the cappuccino and the café latte were watery, no taste at all... Weirdly enough the cappuccino was half the size of the café latte, god knows why. It is a pity for a place calling itself a coffee shop. Now the food was ok we had the slice of bread with tomatoes and poached eggs on top. The eggs were too cooked, not runny anymore, and rather cold which was disappointing. An overall bill of 50$+ for our quick and not so great breakfast : the atmosphere is cute but itâs not worth the price at all. All the hotels around have for the same price, much much better options.

Everything about this cafe is ok and certainly did the job. But the food wasn't as amazing as the reviews suggested. It was good but I think the reviews led me to have higher expectations. Definitely worth a visit though.

Blue Daisy Cafe first opened in 2011 in Santa Monica on Wilshire location, after becoming very popular amongst the neighborhood and entire LA in general, to better serve its customers and avoid long wait Blue Daisy decided to move to a bigger and better l
We stopped in for breakfast on a weekday and weâre seated outside. In spite of the proximity to the street the setting was peaceful and uncrowded. Service was leisurely. The zucchini hashbrowns are unique. I found the fig toast to be tasty but unbalanced because of the large number of figs. Overall a low-key and relaxing experience.

I love this place, this family and the delicious food they make! I had the amazing mortadella sandwich and a beautiful Cafe Latte on my visit. I'm still thinking about that sandwich and the coffee. I'm living in Saõ Paulo, Brazil, where the Mortadella sandwich at the Mercado Municipal is rather iconic, and dang it is superb...but Amelia's is better. The balance is right and the insides are all put in the right place. Hugs and Kisses from Brazil! See you all next visit!!
