Sat down here at 8pm on a Saturday evening. It was quite busy. It was difficult to get attention, you had to chase a waitress rather than them coming to you.Ordered drinks, starter and main course. Drinks came fairly quickly. Starter arrived at 8.30pm. Then we sat until 9.30pm with no food. We were sat next to a group of 4. The 1st diner had finished his meal before the 4th diner had got their food. At 9.30 I asked where the food was and I was told 'We only have a small kitchen'. I don't class myself as a business genius but the obvious answer is have less tables. Waitresses seem to be coming out with just one plate at a time.At 9.40 after waiting 1 hour 10 minutes for my meal, I paid for my drinks and left.Wild horses wouldn't drag me back there.

Beautiful little place, the lady that served us, who I think was the owner was very friendly, and the cakes and the drinks were lovely after our walk around the town.

Ich versuche - noch unter Schock stehend-, eine möglichst sachliche Bewertung aller relevanten Komponenten abzugeben.Die Lage am Rheinufer ist erstklassig mit wunderbarem Blick auf die andere Seite des Rheins, als auch auf vorbeifahrende Schiffe.Das Café liegt direkt am Fähranleger.Es lockt mit 50er/60er Charm und lädt auf den ersten Blick zu einem gemütlichen Tässchen Kaffee und einem Stückchen Kuchen- serviert von einer niedlichen alten Dame mit weiÃem akkuratem Schürzchen und einem Notizblöckchen ein....So meine Phantasie beim Anblick dieser Lokalität.Die Realität ist allerdings weit entfernt davon, denn das genaue Gegenteil ist der Fall.Ich finde noch immer kaum Worte für diese Katastrophe. So war ich aufgrund des miserablen Wetters nicht sehr skeptisch über fehlende Gäste im groÃzügig bestuhlten Café.Wir nahmen Platz und ab diesem Zeitpunkt gab es aus reiner Höflichkeit unsererseits kein zurück mehr.Dieses Lokal ist nicht nur in die Jahre gekommen, was man am Muff von 50 Jahren schon erroch, es war zudem unsauber und nicht instand gehalten.Aber wir sind Menschen ohne Vorurteile gegenüber jeglicher Nationalität oder Gesinnung und bestellten Tee, Kaffee, Kuchen und Sprite und freuten uns immernoch über unseren brillianten Rheinblick und konnten uns gut vorstellen, dass vielleicht sogar Peter Alexander bereits auf unseren Plätzen gesessen hatte.... damals...!Inzwischen war unser Tisch reich gedeckt mit all den bestellten Leckereien und wir widmeten uns den Köstlichkeiten.Der Kuchen... nunja... TK-Ware? Alter Kuchen? Ich weiss es nicht.... vielleicht stammte er sogar aus Peter Alexanders Zeiten- er war jedenfalls ungenieÃbar. Meinen schwarzen Tee lieà ich aufgrund von âMuff-Geschmackâ ebenfalls zurück gehen. Ein Blick aufs Schildchen verriet mir, dass es sich hier um Tee des absolut billigsten Fabrikats handelte und die Sprite war regelrecht TOT- da sprudelte nichts mehr in dem unsauberen Glas. Ein verzweifelter Gang zum WC um wenigstens noch schnell eine Notdurft zu verrichten, rundete das sich inzwischen geformte Bild ab.Unsauberkeit, Muff, Stink! 4 Stk Kuchen, Tee, Kaffee, SpriteDas alles gab es für 23 Euro.Es tut mir wirklich leid, aber ich habe mich nur noch geekelt und am selben Abend noch einen Herpes bekommen.Nur die Freundlichkeit der vermutlichen Besitzerin, rettet diese Bewertung mit einem Stern.Das Café empfehlen wir in keinster Weise weiter!
