We stopped at Whole Foods for a specific purchase, but after walking by all the entrees, side dishes, and salads , decided to make a selection for a quick lunch. We both had a huge slice of BBQ Chicken Pizza. After we warmed it in their microwave, we sat down to a very nice lunch. We had been eating heavier for several days and this was a relaxing conclusion, before we started driving toward home. We sat at the counter by the front window where we could watch people come and go. The pizza was very good and satisfied our need for lunch. If we hadn't stopped here, we lost likely would have had a larger and heavier lunch. This was exactly what we needed.

We live nearby and had never been here -- till Sunday. It was excellent! We came for breakfast which was delicious and ample (I took half mine home for Monday's lunch!). We ate in the garden -- comfortable even in December. I had the Dungeness crab/ avocado benedict which was great -- really fresh crab and a light hollandaise. The hash browns rate as the best any of us have ever had -- crispy and delish! My husband had the spicy sausage omelet which he demolished (no leftovers for him). Kat, our waitress, was most helpful and made the gluten free options clear and easy for the one in the party who needed that. Easy to bypass this great find because it is below 2nd Street on B but now that we have found it we will be back.

Interesting spot. Their corned beef with sauerkraut Sandwich was very different; odd in a sense. I wouldnât have it again. My wifeâs sandwich was overpowering with goat cheese making all the ingredients.Salads looked awesome.Hi Mlippa. Thank you for your visit and feedback, We wish we had known you may have preferred a different item as we would have been happy to bring something else out for your and your wife. We hope you do make it back to try our salads soon and we'd love to hear from you again!

This was always our go to family, fun breakfast spot...for a birthday, a visit, a leisurely great morning meal with 3 generations. We were reluctant to return after the new ownership but...we also longed for a return. So...our verdict from our return...the menu is exactly the same...down to the weekend brunch specials. Clearly, they are trying....sadly, the food is just not the same. Portions a tad smaller...even the giant latte is less giant! The scones and biscuits are okay but no longer fantastic. Same with the egg dishes. Wait staff is fine, atmosphere the same...lots of adorable, happy toddlers/babies/ kids. Would I rush to go back? Frankly, no. But, I will...a great space, indoors and out. Good enough food...just not sublime.

Okay....salads are great too...and the beet hummus really delicious as well. Breads are amazing as are the muffins and scones. Hard to choose! You really canât go wrong. Love sitting outside where it is quieter than inside. Very friendly staff and excellent cooks and bakers!

This cafe is not the cheapest place to grab breakfast but it sure was good. I went for the build your own omelet. Sausage, Jack cheese and yellow onions. It came with the home fried potatoes and toast. Add in the orange juice, coffee and tip and it totaled $26.00I will say it was one of the best omelets I have had and the home fries were crisp outside and tender inside, very well done

Small breakfast place in downtown San Rafael. Long counter and cramped tables. Difficult conversation influenced by high-level chatter. Bacon and eggs, $11.00, over easy were very watery and uncooked. Potatoes were OK. Corn beef hash with poached eggs served with ham, $13.00. Fresh beef and nicely prepared poached eggs. Both meals were served cold.Good service. Nothing special.

My 2nd trip to Bogie's for breakfast and this time we sat outside...a lovely morning for fresh air and a tasty scramble, actually named after me:) -- Hal's Scramble -- mushroom, spinach, cheese but sans chuck (mince) since I am a pescetarian.Service is most friendly and home-fries are among the tastiest around.Bogie's is just off the freeway near the Marin County Civic Center, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Everyone raves about the Chinese Chicken Salad for good reason, it is the best. I recently stopped by for one of their take-out cartons stocked in the fridge and they only had the large size available (and it is large!) However, they were happy to make up a small size for me (still an ample portion) which I happily ate for dinner. The next day I was back to try the Greek salad and some roasted vegetables. All delicious. A San Anselmo treasure for sure.

We go to Theresa and Johnny's every Sunday morning without fail. It never disappoints. Although we have our favorites from the many omelet, pancake, and waffle options we sometimes spring for a special featuring the freshest seasonal fruit. Service is great. Atmosphere very homey. Lots of regulars are there week after week but there is always room for more folks.
