Visiting my grandson in the Marines at Camp Pendleton. We decided on trying the S.C. Café for breakfast. The place had a lot of locals (good sign) plus a scattering of visitors. The food was plentiful and very, very good. The southwestern flair was evident in the food spicing. I loved it!!!! Not only is this a place I recommend but it also a place I will visit again and again if given the chance. The service was good and friendly. There is both inside and outside seating. In San Clemente, outside is generally good. Use your phone app to find but it will be worth the effort.

Food was very good, fresh and plentiful and the staff were pleasant and quick. The coffee was pretty decent and the staff kept it hot. Anyone should feel confident in making this place their choice, as was our group of five. I imagine lunches would also be good from our experience.

Rude service on a Sunday - coupled with literally the worst tasting Latte I have ever had in my life..no recommended, sadly, in San Clemente--you may have to go around the corner to the Corporate coffee store to get a decent cup of joe

Food was great and the waitress was very nice and personable. She was working extremely hard to pick up the slack for the call in. I didn't give it a higher rating for a few reasons. Being in a cramped space was miserable with a crying baby.The cook was extremely rude to the waitress (I think she called her mom). Cook dropped dirty dishes on floor and left them.On our way to leave, a HUGE roach was by the door. I would like to think it come in because the door was left open.Overall, the waitress was overwhelmed and it hurt our service, although she tried very hard.

Cafe Rae is a bustling, cute and fun place. We had breakfast here late morning on a Sunday, and the cafe was packed. My scrambled eggs, bacon & potatoes were delicious. My friend said that the omelette he had was the best ever. And I might add that he eats breakfast out at a lot of places.

I enjoy leaving an opinion in hope that it might help others. You guys have helped me so much, over the years, and its a good system. However, in this case, please stay away. This one is mine! Great food, low price. It's kind of a fast food place, but you won't find a better breakfast, anywhere, no matter the price.

The La Galette Creperie is across the street from the San Clemente pier. It's a small restaurant, so it's best for small parties of 2 or 4. There was 3 adults and 2 small children in our group and our seating was very snug....the restaurant is clean and has friendly service. We ordered the salmon crep, 2 nutella creps, salmon omelet, ham & cheese omelet and a berries crepe. It was all very delicious! Make sure to save room for the berry crep! We'll definitely be back for breakfast!Tips:Show up early, this place is busy, and you'll find parking. I hope this helps!

While the options arenât extensive, all that weâve tried have been very tasty. Portions are generous and attractively presented. Service is good. Whatever you do, save room for the butter cake with blueberries for dessert. Itâs excellent. Youâd be wise to pass on the mimosas. Theyâre okay, but overpriced.

Four of us ate here; two ordered lunch and two ordered breakfast. We all raved about our food. The fish tacos were âthe best Iâve ever hadâ, said two teenagers who have eaten fish tacos in dozens of restaurants. The Eggs California (like Eggs Benedict without the ham) were the best Iâd ever had as well. They substituted extra avocado for the bacon. Itâs the first time in my life Iâve left avocado on my plate......because I was full! The hash browns were excellent as well. We all had some and could tell they were made on site.
