Had the Piña Hummus and the guacamole spreed along with a fabulous cappuccino. The service was excellent and the food came quickly. I strongly suggest this for those needing gluten-free and/or vegetarian dishes. Friendly service too. Sat outside during great weather.

Enjoyed lunch on the back terrace which is quite pleasant surrounded by plants and lots of fresh air. The portions are quite large and filling. It was difficult to choose from all the veg options. Overall the food was tasty. Next time I will pass on the fresh juice as it was green but tasted like water.

Our family of 3 (two adults and 12 year old son) had a delicious dinner at Emilioâs café. We had an early dinner (4:30) and were able to reserve a table right up against the balcony, what a view! The meals were delicious. Both my husband and I had the two different chicken curry dishes, both were so flavorful. Our son had the chicken tenders (he still eats like a kid), which he described as the best heâs ever eaten (and heâs eaten a lot of chicken tenders in 12 years). We split 2 desserts â amazing! The price was quite reasonable for this type of food, plus fresh made desserts (no alcohol, just teas and coffee) $65 total, including tip. Highly recommend Emilioâs Café!

Cafe Milagro began as a small, specialty coffee roaster in 1994 and over the years it has evolved into a local culinary institution. From coffee to cuisine, we offer the best of Costa Rica's fresh local ingredients. In Manuel Antonio, be sure to check out
Stopped in Friday evening for early dinner and, with four waitresses and zero guests, figured out service would not be a problem.Wrong. Left after ten minutes because waitstaff was way more interested in visiting each other than doing their job.So cannot comment re food or drinks obviously, but the attitude was the worst during our many visits to CR.We are so very sorry to hear this and are even more upset than you are. It is always a challenge in any business to keep the energy high and a staff focused when business is slow however we trusted our staff to be professional enough to navigate that and in accordance with their training. We are thankful you brought this to our attention as we only want to be great as a company. Without our customers there is no Cafe Milagro. A staff meeting is in order to refresh everyone as to why we are here and what our purpose is. If do find yourself in the area again we hope you will give us another chance. Pura Vida.

Most wonderful setting for this cafe, right overlooking the river with beautiful grounds and a very obliging quetzal in the trees! Had coffee, then after a short walk came back for lunch, it was so nice & friendly there. Had the local trout ceviche & trout pate - totally scrumptious & a substantial helping.. highly recommended. Thanks so much for your visit and for a wonderful review. We are delighted to hear how much you enjoyed it on the first visit, that it made you come back.We feel honored! So happy to know you enjoyed some of our trout dishes. Thank you

Cafe Rojo offers a lunch special and a vegan/vegetarian option every day. We use seasonal produce from the local farmer's markets in our vietnamese inspired dishes. Simple food made with care and imagination. Located in a victorian old Barrio Amon house,
I enjoyed a delicious Vietnamese rice noodle salad with sautéed chicken and lots of fresh vegetables and herbs here. The friendly and good-humored server explained all the ingredients to me in detail when I said I have celiac disease and warned me against the mushroom and eggplant add-ins because they are made with soy sauce. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed; I spent a happy evening here dining solo. Donât miss the fresh juices and coffee!
