If you are in the mood for a carb overload breakfast, this is the place. Lots of potatoes, biscuits, their waffles looked fabulous as did their quiche but we wanted protein and they lacked alternatives. The sweets looked amazing as did the Pioneer brand choices of carb foods with lots of sugar. Wish we had checked the menu before dining but we should have known as their brand is the well known Pioneer. Go if you love breads/sweets as they all looked tasty and they smelled wonderful.

We came here and were worried at first based off the location. It didn't help that when we parked a guy was sitting in front of the restaurant smoking marijuana. We were hungry and went in anyways and were pleasantly surprised. I got Joe's specialty/favorite (I forget) and it was awesome. My kids got a cinnamon roll pancake and it was great. My wife got the French toast and it was also good. Good place to eat for good food but the location is not the best.

My wife and I had a phenominal "spur of the moment" dinner at this delightful cafe. We sat outside by the Riverwalk and I enjoyed an excellent Prime Rib dinner while my wife opted for the Palacio Street Tacos - all followed up with a shared piece of fantastic Key Lime Pie. From the time we were greeted by the Hostess, Caitlyn, until we were served by both Krystal and Kaelyn - the friendly, efficient and truly pleasant service was outstanding. I even took the time to tell the manager, Jennifer how much we appreciated and enjoyed the Cafe. A great job by everyone (especially the chef, of course) - you will enjoy it for casual early evening dining.Thank you, Donktex, for sharing your 5-star review. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Happy to hear you enjoyed your meal - both were excellent choices and 2 of our most popular menu items, especially the key lime pie!Your comments will be shared with our Food & Beverage team members, especially Caitlyn, Krystal and Kaelyn. We get excited when our guests take the time to mention our food servers by name, as well as going above and beyond by letting the Manager on Duty, Jennifer, know as well. Please stop by the next time you're in San Antonio. Until then, happy dining!Kindest regards,Tracie
