I reviewed this place about a year ago, but since then I've been back several times, and I wanted to update what I said previously. This restaurant is without question the best sandwich shop in the Roanoke Valley, and I would highly question the sanity of anybody who would suggest otherwise.I have personally eaten over 100 unique sandwiches throughout the valley in the past six months on a quest to find the best sandwich in the Roanoke Valley, and this place is where you'll find most of the best ones. The food is fantastic, and the people who run the place are so nice and welcoming.I have eaten ten different sandwiches here in 2018. Every single one was something I'd gladly order again. The Chicken Tandoori, Cajun Chicken, Manhattan, and Roanoker are all elite level sandwiches. The Florida Turkey, Burbank, and Italian Cold Cut are all really, really good. Finally, the Steak & Cheese, Salem, and Reuben are all good, and I'd happily eat any of them again. The french fries are fresh made and are always delicious. If you haven't been, you need to go. There are other places in this town which have some good sandwiches, but I've been nowhere that has this much quality across the board for all of their sandwiches. They've sold their souls to the sandwich devil, and I'm going along for the ride.

We've picked up two king cakes here this season and been delighted. Both have actually contained favors--one that would have been small enough for a child to accidentally swallow, so use appropriate judgement. The cakes were lovely and beautifully prepared. Wish this location was larger and had more ample parking. In short, a wonderful stop for pretty, delicious pastries for special occasions--and a great place to find seasonal delights as well. A bit pricey.

the food ok. It is right aside of hotel we stayed at. A little noisy.Did not like the bar height table sitting. One person had to sit on corner of table because space was limited.

We are a locally owned and operated breakfast, lunch, brunch restaurant serving fresh, scratch made meals daily.
On the edge of a mall area, dining outside surrounded by grass & trees, mountains not farâlovely setting. Good service but food mixed: K had an excellent Florentine Benedict; since they had everything bagels, cream cheese & lox I thought I'd be set: nicely prepared and served BUT while my bagel was prepared as requested, it seems to have been stale to start with & thus tough. Too bad. Easily correctable in the futureThank you for your feedback. We do apologize for the bagel not being to your liking. We will keep a closer eye on the freshness of the bagels. Glad to hear you enjoyed everything else. Dave ArnoldOwner

Our Daily Bread Bakery & Bistro brings a little taste of the French countryside to Roanoke! Serving Breakfast (all day!), Lunch, and Dinner-- as well as hand made pastries, [custom] cakes, and catering!
Our favorite restaurant for breakfast. Designed in a French and European fashion you look at menus first, order, pay and then take your seat. The flow of the restaurant moves quickly and easily so there are very few times you may be waiting for a table and even then not for very long. Food is wonderful. Great variety on the menu. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. And if you are looking for a restaurant that makes authentic French crepes then this is the place. Not to be missed.
