Toast on Market is a true breakfast treasure. Found this place just crusing through the East Market area in Louisville.What a find!Went on Sunday, pretty busy, told we had a 30 minute wait, seated in 20.Fantastic standard breakfast foods like eggs, sausage, toast.But the real treat comes from their specialties. The egg sandwich was tremendous. But I had eggs, sausage, and added as a side a Lemon Souffle pancake, with blueberry composte, Wow is all I can say!

Although it was a Sunday morning, we were sat right away. The service was great! But, moreso, the food was excellent. All 3 of us enjoyed our meals. I highly suggest the turkey and avocado sandwich and the spinach salad. Filling and reasonably priced.

Always have a nice visit here. Friendly staff, great food, good prices and such cute decor. Street parking can be a bit tricky but overall great location. Large seating areas and nice menu selections for breakfast and lunch. Go early on Sundays or you will have a huge wait. Most other weekdays are reasonable in wait time for food and nearly always seated quickly.

They have a little of everything to fit every palette. Obviously a place for locals mostly - I tried Benedictine on a sandwich for the first time here and became a fan. Sometimes we come for soup and salad or a sandwich. Everything is fresh, people are friendly, food is yummy. A great local place and then you can walk the shops around it.

Try as we may to discover a new lunch spot we still find ourselves gravitating back here. Why risk disappointment when you have a sure thing? Today the tomato dill soup and pimento cheese sandwich was as good as anytime in the past. Service was very good as usual and very prompt. It helps that prices are reasonable, too. Although parking can be iffy these days with the continued construction of the Paristown Point venue next door there is a free parking lot a block or so down the street. Also, remember that The Cafe will be moving down the street sometime in the fall and be open seven days a week. Stay tuned.

This is my daughter's favorite bakery in Louisville. Now the chocolate chip pecan cookies and morning glory muffins are family favorites. The bakery also features healthy bread and granola choices too. Prices are pretty standard for bakeries in the area. Employees seem passionate about their goodies. Fun place to visit while in Louisville.

Itâs nothing fancy and itâs pay at the counter but still itâs decent for lunch and reasonable. They close at 3 so donât linger too long. Nevertheless, the Benedictine sandwich on rye with fruit and a few chips for good and plenty enough for lunch. Is it as good as the Benedictine at The Cafe? No, but you canât eat there all the time. This small place is tucked in a small strip mall off of Brownsboro Road. For history buffs itâs not too far from Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Service is friendly and after you place your order they will bring your food to your table plus collect your plates once through. Itâs fairly quiet for those of us in groups who prefer to talk to each other. At least it was that way at 1 pm on a Thursday.

This is definitely a favorite spot as there are lots of options for following a plant based diet as it's 100% vegan. Everything we've ordered has been so good & usually get a 6 pack of chocolate chip cookies to go.

Ate here with a group of 14 people. Our service was excellent and everyone's order arrived exactly as requested. Everything was delicious and beautiful in presentation - we love coming here with out-of-town guests. We will be back soon and appreciate Wild Eggs continuing their longtime tradition delicious brunch at an affordable price. Such a wonderful array of menu options with both healthy and indulgent entrees. My only complaint would be the overpriced iced tea!! Sorry, it's my pet peeve when restaurants overcharge for drinks.
