This place is the epitome of a local diner - basic but good food; young, helpful, competent staff; fast service; decent prices; and alcohol available. Chicken fried steak was as good as I've had anywhere.

Stopped at this Safeway for an Asian Shanghai meal for two.The fried rice was so old it was crunchy, the chow mein noodles were cold and hard, the teriyaki chicken was tasteless and what we did eat upset our stomachs and gave us gas.The female counterperson was friendly and apologetic about the quality of the food.We were informed that the long- time- chefs' last day was the previous Saturday and the new person cooking the food was not working out.

My guy brought me here 8 years ago. He is picky about his coffee then food. The reason we keep going back is the Servers are our 2nd family. The food is Consistent in quality. Remembering everyone can have an off day theirs is few and far between. Iâll eat here over the âNew Improved,â overpriced Waterfront. Just go and enjoy!
