This was our second stop off in Saint-Girons, whilst enroute to the south of France from Northern Spain. We had such a good lunch at Cafe le Madison last year we had to visit again.It seems very popular with locals as well as tourists passing through and especially popular with touring bikers.The food is tasty, well cooked and nicely presented. There is a reasonable choice of dishes on the menu including the plat du jours and the house wine is spot on.It not glamorous or fancy, but it's genuine, honest, very friendly and excellent value.

If your visiting the beautiful small town if St Lizier near St Girons. Take a pleasant lunch here. Under the arches you can enjoy simple local produce in a lovely atmosphere over looking the church. We had a lovely simple lunch of charcuterie, goats cheese and salad with a glass of rose. Nothing fussy but delightful.
