The Dormouse with its ' Alice in Wonderland ' themed decor opened in December 2014, making it the first tearoom in the picturesque village of Daresbury. We offer a wide range of quality home cooked food & drinks, including breakfast, brunch, lunch or trad
We dropped in for a quick lunch after visiting Duttons Lawnmowers which is next door. It was slightly cold outside but if it had been a little warmer we would have taken advantage of the very pleasant looking garden seating area but the indoor seating and tables were very nice anyway. The service was excellent and the menu was very varied for such a small place with and offered vegetarian and vegan options. The food was excellent; it was prepared quickly and was really good value for money. If we're ever passing by (or anywhere nearby) this place is definitely worth a visit.

The Willow tree Cafe at Gleave's Garden Centre in Frodsham is a delightful little place that still believes in homemade food, using local suppliers, fresh ground coffee, family values and that a smile and a piece of cake will solve most problems. Speciali
We stopped here for a cuppa and cake. They did peppermint tea and hubby had a hot chocolate, we also had a slice of lemon drizzle cake - which for the price was small but it was lovely. Overall we payed more or less £10, yet in Chester we paid £8 for 2 hot drinks & a large Danish pastry. Too expensive, we should've stopped in Frodsham again cheaper! Won't be back.
